Had to tweak the RAW file to dampen the light pollution.

one of my first dome photos. I just taped finger LEDs to a pan. It was very poorly put together but I just wanted to try it out.

Steel Wool and Fairy Lights

Taken at the local beach, in a spare half hour me and the orb had... Its been a busy week!!

Light orbs using glowsticks and fishing line. I set the iso too high, so the background is grainy.

Steel Wool and Fairy Lights

Torch duel with the constabulary.

Fortunately, my torch was at least as bright as theirs, so the end result was a draw. They went away content, and left me in peace, having assured themselves that it was not I who had been setting off naval distress flares. (I wish I had been though, it would have made for some interesting lighting.)

Steel Wool and Fairy Lights

Slightly lobed orbage, straight out of the camera, then cropped to 8x10 aspect ratio ('cos it makes the print fit in the frame easier).

New orb method/camera method to achive this orb - jake saari's idea.

Shot from a second floor window down onto the street. My spacing was off on the side rings, will have to sort that out next time.

Its 6am and Il really hoping for a snow day from work. I really dont feel like driving 30 miles in this crud. This was taken with my lensbaby last year,

Trying out my new light sword and home made orb tool. Orb isn't quite formed yet but it was the first spin with it.

Quite proud of it, had to buy a soldering iron, hadn't used one since i got a 'B' for electronics in school, turns out i still have the touch haha!

I know that Austin is tired of making light orbs, but I still love them.

Wanted to try two orbs, got a little rushed and both are a little sloppy. Needed to take my time, because I ended up having time to spare.

Taken with one exposure, No adjustments other then slight sharpening and crop.

Thought I would try something else.... Think I'll stick to orbs!! Ha Ha.

I love this shot because the orb worked a treat along with the silhouettes

Taking advantage of the nearly full moon and clear skys... Windy again though!

Took my daughter out lightpainting. Went back to the dolmen D54 with a spectacular full moon
