That's where they come from!
This labyrinth made of candles from Tanja Gehring and her team in the Friedrichsau Ulm looked like an airdrome made for light orbs to me. So I put some (imperfect) orbs on the runway... ;-)

Just faffing about with the hand waving orbage. That little light on the ceiling is starting to annoy me, I keep hitting it with the LEDs :)
Starting into the new year with some old stuff... No, these are no christmas baubles. ;-)
As usual this picture has been taken in a single exposure. No pixels have been added or removed.
Slightly hurried 30 sec exposure. Right after setting up, the heavens opened, so I only managed 3 shots before it just got silly. Then the battery ran out.
Just me "cradling" Orson...It's a little dark under my hand, but I didn't want the noise/grain to take over, so I opted out of brightening it lol!
More experience needed to get the orb to be orb shaped but it was fun to have a go and see what happened!
Well there I was sat infront of a lovely roaring fire, having just finished a pizza hut when I got called out to work, so never one to miss an opportunity I grabbed my gear as I had clocked this bridge when driving home from there the other week.... I'm very please I did. I think I've found a new place!!
Probably my longest exposure time for a light painting ever! Thanks to the OM-D "live time" function.
Check out the very colorful FHDR version as well!
Managed to make each one in 10 secs, but didn't get the placement quite right. Nor the focus for that matter :-)
Myself & Bri were out trying out our first ever light painting/ orb making ideas with l.e.d's purchased from the pound shop!!. I used some battery powered Xmas tree lights taped to a pole to get this light ribon effect.
A light painting night shot done with my husband at Ka'ena Point, Oahu. He created the orb and I did additional light paining, controlled the camera, and edited.
I tried to be clever and do a Sparkler Orb however the sparkler had other ideas and just before i finished it decided to break free and make a run for it haha! however the single splash of light works rather well against the littered floor of the abandoned warehouse.
Vaudevillian Veteran and me was out to enjoy the winter coldnes and take some photos. My lens actually got frost on the glass and zoom wheel.
