That's what I got when I made this shot!
Anyway I enjoyed this light painting session as the "live time" mode of my new OM-D E-M5 is the best invention since choclate! ;-) And you don't even need a remote! What you see here is the jpg that came Directly Out Of the Camera (DOOC).
But - for long exposures like that, there's a lot of all kind of noise in the raw files. So for the FHDR version I tried to reduce noise a little before further processing. Decide yourself about the result.
Now I have to think about all these really, really small buttons and reflect if I will keep this nice littel Olympus...
One of a series of 'Just mucking about' kind of images from a bored evening on holiday in Somerset a fortnight ago.
Wing Gundam HG 1/100
We hit up some Garage sales yesterday and I found a Gundam Model!!! I havent built one of these since I was in high school so It was Exciting. Not sure how many people still watch Gundam but check out Gundam 00 thats one awesome Series and thanks for listening to my Nerd Rant.
Kerstin and I made this picture about one month ago at the wedding (in German 'Hochzeit') of two of our friends. Think they didn't realize which univited spherical guests were playing outside. Lena & Wolfgang, I hope you like it! It was a wonderful day and a great party!
There has been some minor FHDR processing to the original picture that came out of the camera. Additionally this picture has been mirrored vertically, nothing else has been changed or added.
Last NIght was really really fun. We decided to go the the Capitol and try not to get in trouble. Lucky us we didnt, but we did get questioned! haha, but thanks to the State Troopers for Being Great ! we will be back with our full bag of tools soon!
I feel a bit of a schmuck for uploading a definitely tweaked image earlier today, with much altered color balance, so here's one that's totally 100% SOOC, just to show I can do such a thing :)
A buddy of mine invited me out tonight to show me how to make these light orbs. I couldn't resist because it appealed to the geek in me.
Who would have thought you could have so much fun hooking LED lights to the end of a bungee cord and twirling them around (we got some strange looks tonight)?
This was taken in Central Park, you know, the place you're not supposed to go after dark if you know what's good for you.

Light Orb and Wire Wool, my first try in the same frame...
Wire Spun by Myself, Orb by "Scott H2010"
This light orb orb met some jugglers having fun on the Olympiaberg during the EJC 2011 in Munich.
Think I absolutely need such OnePiece garment myself! Black would be great. ;-)
Thanks for that funny session, jugglers!
Last night when all visitors had left the Friedrichsau many light orbs met at the Ulmer Zelt to have their own big celebration of the 200th anniversary of Albrecht Berblinger’s historic gliding flight attempt across the Danube, of 200 years Friedrichsau Ulm and - last but not least - of 25 years Ulmer Zelt.
This picture has been taken in a single exposure. No pixels have been added or removed. That's even true for the dead / stuck / defective pixels of my good old 300D. ;-)
A shot of the RGB LED Chain and the Arduino Mega board used in this project.

Here is a closeup of one of the modules on the RGB LED Chain. Notice the word INPUT. The wires on this side of the Module are the Input side and the wires on the back side are the output side.

An SOOC orb, with some fluffy twizzly edge bits, on a trampoline, backlit by some serious light pollution.
I headed down for a quick 20 minute light orb practice at Mount Batten this evening. I think they're slowly getting better and have better shape, but they're still not perfect yet.
