Shadows and light, shades of green
Natures glory it is seen
Between the branches, among the trees
Gently blowing in the breeze
Wildness shining very bright
Shades of green, shadows and light
Responses to this week's Macro Monday's challenge produced so many cool and interesting things one might put in a pouch. As I thought about how to approach the challenge I happened to think of of the earliest days of humans on earth. We had fire but couldn't actually make it on our own. Tribal shaman carried well insulated pouches containing a small ember to light the next fire. That concept seemed a little tough in the short time I had but may appear at some future date. Barring the burning ember pouch it occurred to me how helpful a pouch holding light might be for a photographer to take out and spread around as needed... So here it is my take on this week's challenge -- a light pouch. Happy Macro Monday!
Thankfully the lights of the runway lit up an awful morning at the United States Air Force base at RAF Lakenheath this week with low cloud and mist around the base for most of the morning this was 1 of only 2 F-15 Eagles to manage to get airborne before 1130 due to a weather hold being implemented shortly after they returned!

In any event the scent to follow is on Nature's path
no moon nor sun can distract this wholly wonderful bypath
for once the clouds dance, no longer the lath of the sky
racing Cumulus heartbeats pulsate with Winter to decry
rejoice at last in the hearty hinterland of Spring merriment
only a step is enough to partake in humble sequent...
so are you at the ready, light the Olympian beam of March light
across that horizon so steady yet squirming to one's eyesight
it awaits the vision clearing the way for Spring-omened warmth
that encouragement to be digested with a tizane so roomth
replenished hopes a plenty can the play of light march any further?
yes, it is assured, this ubiety clings to truth like birds of a feather,
we are one instilled into the silence of evolving swings of season
you hear in yourself the shadow of time gravitating to the edge of reason
apparently helpless we're bisected into bystanders of elements stage
watching, applauding and then partaking with the gift to engage
here we stand with gusto as the doors open for Earth's dramaturgy
every day a serial recorded into the motherland's divine hierourgy.

Two years after the success in Rotterdam the China Light festival is back again in the Netherlands. This time it's in the Botanical Gardens at the Uithof where from November 21 2014 untill January 4, 2015 the dozens of light sculptures can be admired.
At dawn in Angkor Wat, while others were having breakfast, I captured this moment of peace and enlightenment. Following the mantra of professional photographers—"while 'others sleep or dine, I shoot''. I managed to capture the natural sun's rays, illuminating this monk.
