Two years ago we went to the Upper Antelope Canyon near Page, Arizona. It's a very unique slot canyon, definitely something I recommend anyone to have on the bucket list. The canyon is in a Navajo Indian reservation - you have to take a guided tour to see it. We took a tour at around noon, at that time you get these nice beams shining straight down the narrow canyon.
I had the camera on automatic when I took three exposures holding the camera against the wall. The ISO was high, so I used the JPG files instead of the RAW ones for HDR processing because Sony has very good in-camera noise reduction. I used 2 of the tree exposures for the balanced HDR processing, then desaturated the image.

Smile on Saturday: Light painting
I don't do a lot of light painting -- it's fun! Here, the colours come from a green flashlight and some blue LED finger lights for kids. To get the wider bands with what look like folds in them, I taped bits of fishing line across the lens in a random pattern -- an idea I saw on YouTube.
Stepping into the BST Hours can be a challenge when creating Light Painted images. With the sky still fairly light until about 10pm in the UK at the end of May, timing is more crucial and exposure times are shorter. Which means I have to plan my shot well and run around a lot more. Thanks to Phil's patience.

At dawn in Angkor Wat, while others were having breakfast, I captured this moment of peace and enlightenment. Following the mantra of professional photographers—"while 'others sleep or dine, I shoot''. I managed to capture the natural sun's rays, illuminating this monk.
Perter Forsgrad just talk about this my image. You can watch from here
“I wanna live a life
Down by the river side
Ohwhoo, count the stars at night
Far from the city lights ...“
An ordinary day in Bucharest, Romania
A wonderfully foggy morning mixed in with a bit of sun can only mean one thing, light beams. An area that I have never photographed before so it was a great place to explore
The Power and Light District of downtown Kansas City on a Saturday night.
People walking by me: What are you doing? Hmmm.
