There was lots of lovely mist on the Somerset Levels as the sun rose this morning. This is one of the many views from Deerleap on the Mendip Hills.
I love purple coneflowers so much, my husband went out and bought some to plant in our garden earlier this summer. They are so pretty...and I enjoy photographing them as well. Hope you enjoy!

From a visit to the Strandemuseum St. George in Thorsminde on the west coast of Jutland, Denmark - May 19, 2018.
The local camera club was doing a photowalk in downtown Elgin last night. We were shooting a church from the second floor (first floor for my British friends) of the parking garage and had just taken a group shot. As I was looking out upon the scene, I started feeling that tingling sensation (no, not THAT tingling sensation). So I took the shot, more as a joke than anything else. I have a reputation for taking "weird" photographs, so I have to maintain my rep. When I looked at it later, I kinda liked it. Emptyness, simplicity, minimalism, repetition, vanishing points, rule of thirds, and almost mononchrome except for that splash of orange. What's not to like?
I may enter it in the club competition just to watch the judges' heads explode.
