This is one image in a series I'm shooting on parking decks ... shapes and forms, light and shadow play, mood and atmosphere. Some images are minimalist; others representational; still others abstract. To see more in the series click Parking Deck Series

A scene from my forthcoming film, Level Five: "Matt Cooper is a tough, uncompromising cop who only works face down, on Tuesdays and who trusts no-one, which is why he insists on having an entire car park floor to himself. He has just twenty four hours to track down a terror suspect using only his powers of detection of vibrations through concrete." - "Five stars" - Time Out. "Gripping stuff" - The Times. "Must see." - Metro. "Unremittingly terrible. I've had more fun watching orphans burn" - Norwich Evening News.
Happy Face Down Tuesday everyone!
A macro view of a stack of quarters.
Strobist info:
The scene was illuminated by two Nikon SB900 speedlights placed 80° CL/CR, 20-inches above and two-feet away from the subject. The speedlights were fired in Manual mode @ 1⁄16 - power through Neewer 24" x 24" soft boxes.
The SB900s were triggered by three PocketWizard Plus X triggers.
Lens: reverse-mounted Nikon EL - Nikkor 50mm/f2.8 with 7mm + 14mm + 28mm extension tubes attached.
UP YPR60B makes a setout at the lower level of Blommer while overhead, North Line #330 arrives Ogilvie with a repainted F40PH-3. Blommer's lower level receives cocoa butter in tanks cars while the upper level takes sugar in covered hoppers.

Never expected to be flickr MIA so long! Attempting to refocus now! Excuses, excuses, so many I could give you! ;-) Will be gliding slowly through your streams this week. Looking forward to catching up with all the beauty and creativity that I have missed!
SUNSET ~ Shelf-Cloud ~ Florida Everglades
Palm Beach County, Florida U.S.A. - 6/23/20
I'm going to stay on this 'great-night' for a while, if you don't
mind. I got far too many 'great-keepers' to let them pass and
get buried in the archives. It was the best night of the year
(so far) with its amazing sunset/weather-phenomena and the
shelf-cloud. Only the second shelf-cloud I've ever seen in South
Florida. So bear with me for a little while, and thanks for looking.
*[left-double-click for a closer-look]
*[after being out for a bit, they (boat-above) seem to be riding
the 'shelf-cloud-wave' right into the dock before they got wet]
*[Honestly, it was 'other-worldly' to shoot-this!]
