Spent the last few days car camping and hiking along the Hoh River in the Olympic NP. The Big Leaf maples are just starting to leaf out ... still these trees are awe-inspiring in any season.

This maple leaf never made it to the ground. It got caught up in a spiderweb and hangs twirling in the wind, showing off its brilliant color.

Skye piled a bunch of leaves in a tree and then pulled them down on top of her. She said she was having a "leaf shower."
