Taken on the Shropshire Community Flickr meet in Bridgnorth. Lots of Autumn leaves were on the ground and they made for for lovely compositions. I took this whilst everyone else was chatting by the cars.

Nice variety of color represented in this peony leaf fringed with frost.

This is the dreaded blue-green sharpshooter which is the vector for transmission of the bacteria that produces Pierce's disease of grapes.

Small tear in a very large leaf. I liked the light coming through this.

Fall is one of my favorite season. I love the cooler weather. The crunching of the leaves on the ground is so great. Raking leaves up and jumping into them is so much fun. Than going inside tio have hot chocolate and watching the leaves fall.

A leaf from a Sycamore tree held close by stems of a fern, In the summer the leaf helped shade the fern from the summer sun, Now, after the leaf has lived its life cycle and fallen. The leaf will decay and help feed the fern for future growth.

The lastest addition to my mini zoo. These only reach a maximum of 2-3".
