Thanksgiving in Canada has just about come to an end, but I hope that most of you had a wonderful day and were able to spend it with family and friends. This red maple leaf just reminded me of the occasion. Fall has such awesome colours. As you can see, the grass was dry due to all the warm days we've had, but it made the leaf show up even more.

Hurricane Sandy a.k.a. "Frankenstorm" is heading this way and arriving tonight, so if I disappear for a week or two, that would be why. They are forecasting sustained high winds for days and loads of rain, so prolonged power outages are very likely. Hoping they are wrong and that all of us in the storm's path make it out without too much damage.
