Picked up my new toy from the post office this morning..... EF-S 17-55mm IS f2.8....... and very nice it is too. Nice and sharp wide open, plus the IS is handy too - collecting lenses is becoming a bit of an addiction, although saying that anyone want a Sigma 17-70mm ;-)

The wild grapes tasted pretty good but they had big seeds.

This leaf fell into our bird bath and I thought it looked lovely in the sunlight, Taken with the Tamron 90mm macro lens.

After two hours in the sun this leaf was still frosted.

Playing around in lightroom

I went on a 45 minute trek in the woods behind my house on a sunny and warm January day. This was one of the last pictures I got.

Honeycrisp apple leaves show leaf mottling. This is a physiological problem of the cultivar. This is not a disease or insect problem. There is nothing that can be done except to let the tree continue to grow.
