Here is a picture of a leaf from that spiky plant I posted a picture of earlier, I liked the texture that the ridges in the leaves gave off when the sunlight hit it hence the title.

Rain rain rain... Can't really shoot wildlife and there is no lighting for dramatic landscapes. I decided to play around with my macro lens this morning and shot this Japanese maple leaf. I like the colors in it.

No camera in hand when I spotted it. A few quick markers helped me re-find it for photography before I pulled it.

My wife and I took a late afternoon walk in the neighborhood and I snapped this picture during our walk.

It's been raining all weekend, so I dug out my light box and tweaked a leaf off my fig tree.
