taken in the morning after early rain.
I placed a torch undernesth this fallen leaf to bring out the veins and colour. A wider beamed torch might have been more effective, but I didn't have one with me!

Facing the sun, these maple leafs stand out against the dark background. Taken with a Panasonic DMC-FZ7.
This was the last oak leaf left on a small tree. It looked so lovely as the sun set behind it so I snapped a picture of course!

The leaf is actually not floating it's layed down on a black sheet of paper, the flash is making the illusion that it's floating. I erased the end of the stem to help with the effect.
