I don't know why but I felt the need to take a picture of this leaf laying in the parking lot at Pelican Beach Park.

Does anyone know what kind of tree this leaf dropped from? Now I am curious. BROADLEAF MAPLE

My neighbor told me this is a broadleaf maple. And people love to have them in their yards because the leaves decompose so quickly and make compost. Which is true, when I tried to pick a few up, they fell apart in my hand.

The fig trees in our garden are now in full foliage, when I saw this leaf I just had to do the obvious shot!
