Whillst playing with my camera in my dad's garden I came across this pretty leaf and couldn't resist taking a few shots :-)

Amazingly, this image is less than 1 megapixel (3.6% of the original 25mp frame) before reducing for web, so almost a 100% crop.

This part off the trefoil leaf is malformed - but isn't it pretty?

Spent yesterday morning at the Huntington Gardens with a macro lens to see what I could capture. Decided to try to capture close-up textures.

Fall is still "approaching" here in wine country.

This leaf wouldn't stop spinning in the wind, so it took several tries to catch it facing the camera. The profiles just weren't as interesting ;-)
