Het zachte zonlicht in de namiddag is ook heel mooi deze augustus dagen
This huge leaf was so nicely veined that the veins created the valleys and mounds on the surface, leading to such beautiful lighting pattern, which makes it appear as multiple leaves, though it is just one single leaf!
It also appears like the stripes of the tiger or boats tied at the harbor! More imaginations welcome!

The fig trees in our garden are now in full foliage, when I saw this leaf I just had to do the obvious shot!

I realise it's kind of late to get into the whole "I'm shooting autumn things!", but I can't resist leaves on old paved streets.

3" leaf toggle clasp like I demoed in the April issue of Polymer Cafe, but the stripes I made before I crackled the surface.
Does anyone know what kind of tree this leaf dropped from? Now I am curious. BROADLEAF MAPLE
My neighbor told me this is a broadleaf maple. And people love to have them in their yards because the leaves decompose so quickly and make compost. Which is true, when I tried to pick a few up, they fell apart in my hand.
