The morning dew drops and slight sun reflection make this leaf appear to wearing a gorgeous jeweled necklace. The contrasting vibrant green veins make for a lovely artistic piece as well. Nature as art ~ what a lovely sight to see!

As I was sitting in the sunroom, on the first morning of the new year, having breakfast, I noticed how lovely this Hydrangea leaf looked, backlit by the sun. Let's resolve, this year, to enjoy each moment of beauty we're given! Happy New Year, 2014!

FIRST AUTUMN LEAF...no editing!

Walking in the forested yard of my daughter this morning, I found this beautiful GIFT.

Of the hundreds of trees of all kinds, this one leaf was in the middle of the lawn. I looked everywhere and there was no other leaf in full fall color...so I knew it was a special gift from a beloved tree, sent just for my JOY.
