I was moving some photos between hard drives and found this. I have a vaque recollection of taking it. A little processing and here it is.

This leaf has pretty much hit the last stage of chlorophyll depletion, hasn't it? Not much green left in there. This leaf is drying, torn, and just about ready to give up the ghost. Before it did, I asked it to sit for a photoshoot to permit its plight to be known to others.
All that nonsense aside, I thought this leaf looked cool!
A tender new leaf of Victoria amazornica. It will grow to the huge dimensions of upto 3 metres of diameter when fully grown.
Feel free to tell me there's not some kind of Yoda thing going on in the shape/texture of this leaf. Taken on Bill's Trail, Samuel P. Taylor State Park, Marin County, California.
