Simple, yet beautiful maple leaf in Lac La Belle, Michigan

I created a number of Substack posts with images (and some of these images will be included in subsequent posts on my Wordpress site, kenstravelphoto.com) of individual or groups of fallen fall leaves. This is one of those in the "Grounded Leaves" category. These are common scenes found anywhere there are fall leaves around. So maybe nothing special, just a capture of the simple beauty of such scenes.

I'm reasonably sure I have this fly identified correctly, but if you believe it could be something else please let me know. Never was able to find this exact fly anywhere. There is one black dot on each wing that is unique to this fly.

Try on black-click the image.

Just hanging out on the leaf like nobody's business.

Leaf with pine needles curled up, with a little bokeh and back light of the sun. There were webs on the inside of it, suppose that is why it curled up ..A comfy home for eggs or insects
