We don't have a lot of red leaves falling this time of year in San Diego County, so when I saw this one in front of the Santee library I took it home to exploit.
Strobist info: I set this down on a piece of black foam board and then lit it with a YN560-II in a 24 inch soft box camera left about 3 inches from the leaf. The flash in manual mode was triggered by a Yongnuo RF-603N.

I just browsed my folders in my PC and I found this picture.
It was 2.30 in the morning (Malaysia) and I couldn't manage to sleep. Thus, I edited this image. Boredom kills. :S

In one of my earlier posts, I put this same leaf against a similar backdrop. I just wanted to post something today. I am happy with this shot.
A leaf I liked the look of in the glasshouse at Wisley. It is lit from behind but is quite large and thick so that the light doesn't drown everything out.
Somehow this leaf got stuck on the outside of one our windows. This is taken looking out through a double window pane.
