This lamp recently seen for sale is a slightly different version of the commonly seen Stardust Lites. This version features a different cap with a wooden effect and a slightly different base too. I just love the ornate base which gives this lamp its unique character. This vintage USA glitter lamp is really interesting ... Please see the photos for more details.

Wow, sie waren so begeistert von dem Licht dieser Lavalampe. Wie man im fenster gut sehen kann, ist es wirklich kalt draußen. Aber die Danbos haben das komplett vergessen, als sie diese Blasen sahen.

Wow, they were so amazed by the light of the lava lamp. As you can see in the window it's really cold outside. But the Danbos completely forgot about that when they saw those bubbles.

In the interior lobby of the Cleveland Public Theatre, nestled under the grand stairs of the main lobby, Mrs. Robinson has his little homey nook. Hidden behind a set of polka-dot curtains, and within crawling distance of the bar (in case of emergencies), lies Chez Robinson, where the avant garde rockstar can retreat to rest, provoke, and swap trousers with some of his more adoring fans.

And you think I'm kidding.

Before tonight's Conni's Avant Garde Restaurant show gets moving, I catch up with Mrs. Robinson in mufti, and we take a few pictures.

While I've been visiting, Google NYC expanded into another floor. The former tenant was Seventeen magazine. It has not been fully Googleized yet, so there's lots of fuschia and pink and racks and racks of women's magazines.

This room, while not fuschia, reeks of perfume. I assume supermodels used to have orgies here.

Inspired by a touch of insomnia, I dragged out my tripod and played around with long exposures.
