Something simple for today- my lava lamps. Today wasn't terrible but it wasn't the greatest. There's always drama. I'm not saying anymore because apparently I'm not even allowed to talk about anything even not in detail on my own personal blogs or whatever.
I've always thought lava lamps were really cool. Watching the wax come alive and float around, making different shapes is so relaxing and interesting. Here's a fun fact about myself for you all- I've had the green and blue one since I was younger. I asked my mom for a lava lamp and at first I secretly did not like it because of the bottom part that has legs rather than the basic cylinder, but now I love it and I think it's cooler than a normal lava lamp. But I mean this pink one with a zebra print base is pretty awesome too. Thanks to my friend's sister who let me take it from their garage sale pile in their house!
Just another instance of our main room window shelf. Originally made for TVs, TVs eventually got too big. Then we built the addition and now chairs face the opposite direction. Now it's just where party lights go.

I'm not really a big Starbucks supporter... but I thought this quote was cute.
The Way I See It #282
Childhood is a strange country. It’s a place you come from or go to – at least in your mind. For me it has an endless, spellbound something in it that feels remote. It’s like a little sealed-vault country of cake breath and grass stains where what you do instead of work is spin until you’re dizzy.
