A reflection of last years flooding , this lamp post is on the Cromer promenade . I saw the water in the glass and thought that's natures power .

i know i know, everyone who's taken photos in prague has these items collected: the lamp and the red brick roofs :)

anyways, i took a turistic stroll on sunday to the hrad, castle, and coming down i of course took a photo of the view even though the depth is never quite represented in the picture.

OMI.mgx

Designed by Assa Ashuach, 2005.

"The OMI.mgx light is produced entirely as a single nylon part. The form, together with the natural flexibility of the nylon creates the impression of a biological mechanism. The shape can be transformed by bending or twisting the structure - twist one end and the rest will follow. The behaviour offers versatility in that it can be manipulated easily to created different shapes and moods."

A lamp, hidden in the foyer of a club, spreading only little light

I fight with this lamp starting at 3 to 5 AM daily. I HATE it HATE it... It reminds me of "The Wizard of Oz Two" that damn guy ticktock.

I was very happy to see this in Toronto - old gas lamps on city streets!

i took this on holiday once. It gave such a beautiful warm glow. I had to take this pic.

A lamppost at Holyrood Gait, Edinburgh (near The Palace of Holyrood House - the Queen's official residence in Scotland). I can't imagine that bulb gives off much light though.

Another creative shot of a park lamppost.

A lamp made out of a bassoon.

CloudOne is a computationally designed pendant lamp. The lamp was generated with Processing and Hemesh, and printed in 3D using Selective-Laser-Sintering.

Now I have another lamp to obsess over in my house! yayaya! :D

These lamps, little glass nipples now holding electric bulbs, are endemic in Istanbul's mosques. (I was intrigued to see that the same little glass shapes appear on the outside of hammams, as skylights.)

A light in the holiday apartment.
