I was tagged TWICE (Thank you Autumn143rose and Kellie Hatcher, lol), so I better get this done.
Ten things...or more, lol.....Tagged 2x so I get 20 :)
1. I adore new, fluffy socks! Seriously, can't get enough of them. Nothing like putting on a new pair of soft socks.. I also love soft bathrobes, new towels, and clean bathtubs!
2.My kids, my home and my husband. That is me. I love my family and my home. I have four children and they keep me very busy. I live for them. My life IS them... and I love my pictures of them. My life is very crazy now with one learning to walk and the others all involved in multiple activities+school. I'm trying to absorb every moment because I know these years are fleeting.
3. I moved to Europe when I graduated from University (with my University sweetheart). We've been living abroad for 14 years, and during that time I've lived in 6 different countries. I know 2 foregin languages (not including the 4 years of high school / 2 years of University Spanish that I completely have forgotten). My children are trilingual (more or less fluent in 3 languages at speaking age) and are learning a 4th language as an additional classroom subject starting in kindergarten.
4. I LOVE brewing coffee. I love preparing it and making it...THEN I forget all about it and it ends up in the microwave twice..three times, before it is dumped out. My toast pops up and is forgotten, thus is the life of a Mom on the go.
5. I plan on opening up a studio at some time in my life. I have been taking pictures for 18 years but have only become passionate about manual shooting since September 2009. I have a long wish list of photographic equiptment but for now I'm making do with my cheap 50 mm lens. I currently shoot exlusively with natural light. I love the look of the natural glow of people. I don't really enjoy shooting scenery much, but I suppose once my subjects grow I will learn to appreciate it.
6. Textures outside *and inside* inspire me. If I am tired from a very short night of sleep and I see an old brick wall or wood structure...my adrenalin flows. A knit hat or blanket...a color pattern....It wakes me up! Grabbing the perfect photo is my ultimate passion.
7. I hate small toys everywhere. I hate toys with small pieces. I hate when the kids scatter their toys. I like when everything is organized, but this doesn't usually happen. Life is frustrating, but I am learning to accept the impossiblity of a clean and perfect house when the kids are small.
8. The favorite moments of my life---labor/delivery days of my kids. I love the instant when a precious new baby is handed over to you, and you receive the greatest gift on earth. Miraculous! SO thankful for them!!!! Giving birth is the most amazingly wonderful experience possible.
9. I love shopping....for my kids. I love first school days and preparing for a new start to a school year!
10. I am very social and chit chat with everyone. I ask a lot of questions. I am always trying to learn as much as I can in this short life. I have found this the best way to learn about everything A-Z!
I'm tagging a few of my recent contacts *sorry, LOL! If you've already been tagged, once again I apologize! :)
