Racoon has some NEW duds. He is on his was back home to Las Vegas for the Holidays. (Don't ask how he is going to get there.) You may think he is overdressed, but the desert gets mighty cold at night in the winter.
Background is a print of David Hockney's Pearblossom Hwy. The original can be seen at The J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles, California.
Photo taken for Our Daily Challenge: A New Look. This set-up was so much easier than yesterday's!
This was my first time using a grey card for exposure and custom white balance. Would any more experienced eyes care to let me know how this looks? I'm so bad at seeing color casts! Is this too red? Magenta? Yellow? LOL I honestly don't know! Either way, I thought this was a cute capture. Hey Lorissa, we LOVE the hat! Thank you so much! Her little head still needs to grow into it a bit, but it makes for an adorable photo! =)
We had to be very quiet getting the point & shoot camera out. We were afraid the SLR would wake them up! Copyright 2007. All rights reserved.
Splits has a new career as a fashion model. Others tried out, (see below) but Splits won HANDS DOWN!
The background is my photo of Portage Glacier near Anchorage, Alaska taken in 1988. Don't think it looks like that anymore!

I’ve had this ear warmer for a few years. I wore it this morning, and thought I’d share this idea. It keeps your head and ears warm without hiding your hair, or messing up your hair. We’ve all seen the ones with openings for ponytails, but this style works with any length of hair. I didn’t make this, I got it at a good end-of-winter sale a few years back. This may be an idea for someone who likes to crochet or knit . ❄️
Sugar elf, I was thinking of you when I posted this! 💕🌺❄️
The kids and I have been going to this park off and on since it has been built (when you had to leave when the last worker left). Just south of the OKC airport.
