Okay, I'll confess: I went back to the zoo today. I didn't want all my photos for the next week to be nighttime shots.
I did find this curious remnant from last night's program, Winter Light Spectacular. I'm glad the kangaroo sculpture was eager to help someone recover a lost hat.

Week 16
This past weekend, Evelyn got to go to the mountains for the first time to see the Autumn leaves. The ride was beautiful and Breckenridge, the destination, was equally striking. Evelyn really enjoyed both the trip and the fresh mountain air even though it was a little chillier than what she's used to down in Denver.
Lucky for Evelyn and for Evelyn's parents, auntie Chau, who is also in this photo, was not going to let Evelyn suffer as she bought Evelyn a beautiful knit hat and a pair of mittens to keep Evelyn shielded from those cool mountain winds. Thank you auntie Chau! :)
PS: Evelyn does not only smile any more; she can laugh audibly and loves to laugh with anyone who's willing to share her joy. She can't crawl yet, but can push her butt off the ground with her feet and her elbows, and mysteriously move all over the room.
Cutie pies in the photo ~ apparently most interested in pulling off each other's hats!
Hats knit in vegan cotton. Hand wash, cold; dry flat.

Tailor Gibson shows off the adorable hat Paula/nxtdrgrrl made me for the first Blythe Hat Swap! Thank you!
I didn't really have too much planned for my photo today. So, seeing as how I bought a couple new hats and a shirt today, I decided they would be my wardrobe. In the end, I was having trouble deciding which photo I liked better. I like the one on the left cause it's tough looking, but I like the processing of the one on the right. So, when all else fails... do a two-up and be done with it.
