Deb and I went for a great paddle on the Thessalon River from Gordon Lake to Ottertail Lake and back today. The trip down was relatively quiet with a great blue heron, an eastern king bird,some baby catfish and two cormorants. The trip back it was like the critters all woke up. In addition to this little bear we saw several king fishers (which always kept just out of ideal camera range), a huge osprey, a beaver and a turtle. Regarding the bear I didn’t even have time to fully zoom in before it turned and headed back into the woods. The trip was a great opportunity for me to work on my 100-400 skills. Many lessons learned regarding the need to manage the number focal points against busy backgrounds, shutter speed and how to keep an object framed in a moving canoe.

Had a great photo walk today shooting some nice wave activity..

Tome fotografía a este bodegón ya que desde niño me llamaba la atención las fotografías a productos de bebidas en general, me preguntaba cómo hacían para que no se viera ningún reflejo de cámaras y cómo hacían para que se viera todo tan perfecto, ya que en alguna ocasión de mi infancia llegué a intentarlo y se veía el flash o se miraba la cámara reflejada en la bebida, por eso decidí tomarle fotografía a algo que admire desde niño
