A good old square keep with full interior. It's a very complete playset and I think I will keep it assemble and let my children play with it. Purist will be happy, there are stairways on each floor so a minifig can technically go everywhere it wants to.
All that remains of the Norman fortress which gives Newcastle its name is the impressive Keep, the Black Gate (the gatehouse) and a few surviving sections of the inner bailey wall.
Henry II built the stone Castle Keep between 1172 and 1177 on the site of Curthose's castle. Henry III added the Black Gate between 1247 and 1250. Nothing remains above ground of the earlier Roman fort or the original motte and bailey castle. The Keep is a Grade I listed building, and a Scheduled Ancient Monument.

If you had asked me, I would have told you what I was shooting wasn’t working. I couldn’t get all the different tones I was seeing to show up in one picture. Never mind all that. If you show up (90% of photography/life) just keep shooting. You might get lucky.
Monte Sano was at the edge of a thunderstorm all morning. All I had to suffer through was a 60-second sprinkle. And I was the only one there. From the east overlook of Monte Sano State Park in Huntsville, Alabama.

... as I might manage to swim to Arran before this horrible last night ends and over there are all those magic potions to prolong my continued living days! Well, I managed to get all those DIY bits and bobs done and later a nice large glass of Rioja to help me through the evening just in case I don't make it! Of course, I've said farewell to family and friends but they all think I'm crazy and I had to say it was Garth's fault ~ you may get some visitors but if I were you I'd turn my phone off!!
If it was my last night I would like to have seen Arran, for the last time, but today's the wrong day as it is mostly shrouded in cloud!
