there's a "Keep Portland Weird" movement. You can buy bumper stickers & pins & t-shirts. The point is to keep Portland its odd, quirky self. This person is living the dream.
what the hell? leaving lunch at Cha Cha Cha on Hawthorne we passed this bizarre scene on someone's balcony. Apparently it's been there for some time and they keep adding to it. I'm sure the neighbors love it.

Probably one of the more colorful "keep out" signs I think I've ever seen. Found in an art store in Haight-Ashbury in San Francisco.
"Worthless Mudak! This is your fault!"
"Y'know Katya, these next 40 minutes would go alot faster if you stopped talking."

"It's about to get alot worse for you, Sherman."
"The hell--?"
"Officer! Hey, you gotta give me another call, I'll give you $500 for it, just--"

"Be gone, fithly peasant! You don't deserve to be in my presence like the mudak here!"
"You really should lose the ostentatious dresses, Katya. If you had more leg room, you might have outran me."

"The hell do you want, Bats? We already lost."
"Who are Robin and Spoiler?"
"Shouldn't you know that?"
" I do. I was asking you. "
"They're just a pair of stupid kids. Never seen'em in my life..."
"You listen here you worthless winged rat! I don't know who the bliad is, but when I do, I'll find her and--"
"I dare you."
"--Wha? How?--!"
"Listen to me. Both of you. You two just made yourselves far more of a problem for me than I wanted. You got a preview as to who Robin and Spoiler are, and that's all you'll ever get for as long as you breath. Go after them ever again, and I swear you'll regret stepping foot in this city."
"You think I'm scared of you, Bats?"
"No. I just think you're not that bright, Sherman. As for you, Katya, returning to your homeland would be a good idea. You have the money for it. The bloodmoney..."
"You dare..."
