It's been sitting around for months, took pictures, then waited a couple more month before finally posting. My largest castle yet.

It was a bloody cold morning, but I'm determined to keep on wearing nothing but skirts. I was feeling brave so I ditched my warm opaque tights for a pair of sheer nude tights - much chillier but it felt amazing...
In a bid to follow my own style a little more this year, I'm going to post a series of portraits that I've processed onto black. These were mostly shot with this kind of post-processing in mind, and the processing is done entirely within Lightroom.
They're not everyone's cup of tea, but I can't be all things to all men. I like them, and it's a style I want to keep practising.
They're not all perfect either - Some work better than others. But I'm still going to post them all the same, as I'm keen to keep sharing whatever I'm working on.
Any feedback is welcome of course, as I'm always pleased to hear which are most popular with the big wide world out there. And if you can offer advice to improve them, that's equally welcome too.
I've already got a few like this on flickr, so I've made a little set to keep them together.

Taken on my Agfa Ambi-Silette. 130mm Color-Telinear f/4 lens. Shot on Fomapan 400 and developed in HC110(H) for 18 minutes at 20°C.
For ODC~Celebrate
Celebrating the last few days of summer! If I don't post for the few days, I'm out pretending to be social, but I'm still taking pictures! I promise! Anyways, this is my first "selfie expansion". How I did it, I'll never know. BUT it's done.Took an hour, but I was watching Secret Life. I've been rewatching, and now I'm to Season 4 Episode 7. That was my summer, haha. Tomorrow I'm going to an amusement park with Ariel, her brother Jared, and his girlfriend, so I'm sure I'll have stories to tell!
Day 26~ Keep moving
Pretty self explanatory, but I've had this concept in my head for the longest time, and I finally figured out how to do it. No matter HOW bad things are, no matter how rough things may seem, you need to keep going on. Keep moving on whatever path you decide to take. I took this to be literal in a path made in the nature preserve, starting from a single point, and moved forward.
On another note, I'm at about 90.000 views. My flickr anniversary is in two weeks, and I'm excited. If SOMEHOW I could make it to 100.000 in the next month, that'd be amazing. Not by the one year, because that's crazy, but if I do in the next month, I might do another print giveaway?!!

Well, with a bit of delay but here it comes... My sixth entry to CCC XI. Court entertainment.
The king has been blue for a week already - it was a busy time for the royal jester, who tried numerous tricks to entertain him. Unfortunately, all of them were fruitless - even most dangerous acrobatic performance seems not to be enough...
The B8072 road on the Isle of Coll Scotland Is the Island's Northerly road or as It's called the "East End" of the Island and Is more rugged than the Western end of the Island. An Intriguing part of the road Is this Island, Instead of a normal passing place the road splits up In to two, one way single track sections about 35 yards long and Is located on a very steep Incline. It's quite an unusual section of road.This view looking West.
The Isle of Coll reminds me of the Isle of Jura, quite rugged. Oct ober 8 2015.
Walking along a bicycle track might not be sensible but thankfully there weren't too many cyclist making me move off the pathway!!

The castle keep here is part of Dudley Castle which is a ruined fortification in the town of Dudley, West Midlands, England. Dudley Zoo is located in its grounds. The location, Castle Hill, is an outcrop of Wenlock Group limestone that was extensively quarried during the Industrial Revolution, and which now along with Wren's Nest Hill is a Scheduled Ancient Monument as the best surviving remains of the limestone industry in Dudley. It is also a Grade I listed building. The Dudley Tunnel runs beneath Castle Hill, but not the castle itself.
The keep (the most obvious part of the castle when viewed from the town) and the main gate date from the re-building in the second half of the 13th century. During the civil war in 1646 Parliament ordered that the castle be partly demolished and the present ruined appearance of the keep results from this.
The red glow is from the Wallapy House at Dudley Zoo which is a 40-acre (16 ha) zoo founded in 1935, and the Zoological Gardens opened to the public on 18 May 1937.
Next to the Wallaby House is a visitor chairlift that is erected between the zoo's entrance and the castle in 1958. It was taken out of use in 2000 due to health and safety concerns. In August 2012 the chairlift was reopened after a 12-week, £117,000 restoration which included returning it to its original light cream colour. more than 300,000 visitors have taken that two minute ride in the past 24 months!
