Hi All,
I just wanted to say good bye for all my flickr contacts.
This place is not what I was expecting to be or may be the people that I met.
Indeed, I feel I can do better things instead of spending my time in flickr. Outside there is a better world. At least is more realistic and more controllable.
Some people here are doing a great job in flickr and they are using it properly and getting lots of benefits. However, there are some people who are using flickr for fun, I mean the dirty and the silly fun. I don’t know how to describe it, but that pissed me off and made me not proud to be a flickr member. I’m talking here about the UAE nationals especially the teenagers. There is something wrong going on but everybody is having fun with it. People wake up and make a good fun and do something useful in your life.
It is a shame when you see people posting their pictures (body parts and allah yester)
It is a shame when you find people really don’t care about what is happening in flickr
It is a shame when you find people insulting each other for silly reasons.
It is a shame when people block you and kick you out because they are sharing their opinons
It is a shame when you find people participate little in Islamic or any serious discussions and they have great deals with funny and silly discussions.
It is a shame when you find that some of UAE nationals are part of those people.
To be honest, for the time being I’m not really proud of being a part of Flickr. My aims in life are higher than being a flickr member and spend most of my day in it.
I had some good time in flickr but I’m going to leave because it is not my place. I don’t belong to flickr. It is not where I want to shine because I have higher expectations.
What I can offer you for the time being is my www.dam3a.s5.com and soon there will be a professional website for my new business where I will be offering services to the companies.
Ensallah I will do something that my country will be proud of instead of flickring around

One thing shooting macro has done for me is really make me focus on subject matter and it's compositional role more closely. I try to look at "the why" of my photos. What about this shot interests me, what about this shot "turns me on"? In this case, the leaves' color against the green background, their texture against the soft bokeh and their arrangement and sweeping blurred stem made them something I "had" to photograph.

For Flickr Friday's theme, "Keep It Simple," I decided to use my Russian Zorki 4 rangefinder camera as the subject. This camera is very simple, all of the controls are on the top (apart from the lens controls and the self timer, which are on the front of the camera). No buttons or LCD screen on the back, and there's no place to put batteries. Needless to say, this camera does not even have any type of metering. Now that's simple!
Lighting was also kept simple. The Zorki was taken on the carpet of my living room, with the sunlight peeking through the curtained window as its light source. This gave me the contrast needed to accentuate the top of the camera, its controls, and its simplicity, while keeping the rest of the camera in a moderate shadow.
Even the largest number of torches is unable to enlighten the dark Mitgardian winter nights.
