The prettiest birds are often the most difficult to photograph. Got this bullocks oriole along with five of his buddies out near the airport at Cinnamon Ridge.
There are several families of this introduced grouse in the Kamloops area. The environment and weather are perfect for these wonderful game birds. This group is in and around the Sun Rivers Golf Course taking advantage of the manicured fairways.
Stellar day yesterday! It began with the amazing sunrise, and finished with a gorgeous sunset! Couldn't have asked for more!

Snowplow 55499 was built by CN in 1939 and passed to the Kamloops Heritage Museum in 2002.
Preserved CN plow 55499 in Kamloops, BC on Tuesday May 24th, 2005.
c1984 - Series is 41934-42001, rebuilt from various 40' steel boxcars from February through May 1975. This particular car (41968) was built by National Steel Car in June 1939 as 476804, and converted in March 1975. The car was removed from the roster in April 1991.

I just got back from a quick 1 day trip to Kamloops for work. I didn't have much time to take photos but I managed to get a few. I cant believe how beautiful the landscape is there. Amazing.

The Spirit of Kamloops - Lovingly restored over an 8-year period (1993 - 2001) by a group of dedicated volunteers the 2141 was brought back to life after sitting in a city park for over 33 years.

This is part of a huge collection of pictures I took during a flying school trip From Ottawa, Ontario to Vancouver, British Columbia this past summer. A great learning opportunity for us new private pilots and instructors to fly to all these cool locations along the way and back. We took 3 Cessna 172s and one Beechcraft Duchess.
