Beautiful hot day in kamloops. I was looking for something in Riverside to shoot, other people were searching for the latest Pokèmon. lol
I am from Kamloops BC in Canada. Kamloops is in the distance but you can't see the city. This view used to be on one of Canada's currency. Photoshop does a much better job with shadows and haze. Can't wait to get back to use my A7R4 in BC.

1.6 km wide and 29 km long Kamloops Lake is surrounded by mostly uninhabited dry grassland. British Columbia, Canada.
I just got back from a quick 1 day trip to Kamloops for work. I didn't have much time to take photos but I managed to get a few. I cant believe how beautiful the landscape is there. Amazing.

I've been determined lately to learn more about photographing the milky way. This image is a combination of 20 stacked images to reduce noise in the sky (f/2.8, ISO 3200, 20 seconds), combined with a different exposure for the foreground (f/2.8, ISO 400, 491 seconds).
BC Baby! I found the land to be so diverse from what I'm used to. I did get the whole lake, I'd never leave without getting every angle.
We have had a couple of wicked storms go through in the last few days, these were taken after the torrential rain had moved on and the sun began to come out again!
Here is one for all you butterfly lovers out there. Kind of like the ones we get here but with more blue on the wings. Taken with the 600mm and 1.4x at minimum focus while shooting orioles.
Looking down the Thompson River Valley over Kamloops. Don't let the orange sky fool you, this was a cold January evening, hence the dead grass and lack of leaves. It's very green up there now!
