This leather journal made of soft burgundy red and brown leather with suede tie enclosure.
Filled with lined writing paper, included some pages in beige. Approx. 320 pages (160 sheets).

Journal made from double sided cardstock with numerous pages, including some that pull out. Includes many removable tags. Lots of spots to journal on! Binding handsewn with baker's twine.

I've been trying to do sketches of my kids in my journal. I've had a hard time motivating myself to write often, but now I really look forward to it.
These are drawn loosely and quickly, I try not to spend much time on them so, some of them do look a little rough. Also, they've gotten a little more refined and the character styles a little more consistent.
And, yes, I stole this idea from Chris Ware as noted in Danny Gregory's 'An Illustrated Life'.

My grandsweeties journal when they come to our house. Grandsweetie#1 has been working in this journal for two years now. It's getting very full and colorful. Sara enjoyed watching her turn an empty page beautiful.
