This one started out basically as a simple frame, a simple door and then I added in the claw marks, the broken glass above the door itself and the cracked pane of the door. The words on the page are from a song titled "Crawl (Carry Me Through)" by Superchick.

The first issue of the Journal of the Society of Women Engineers was released in spring 1951. Established as a member benefit, it also provided a venue for women to be published, as acceptance rates for women authors in the long-
standing journals was low. SWE continued printing
in this format until 1954.

Mel (Gibson, that is) paid the establishment a visit on the 29 August! He was in the building for less than half hour on some kind of environmental business. Everyone particularly the women-folk went ga-ga! He even enlarged his eyes with his fingers when one asked him, "How did your eyes become so blue?". Anyway, I only got the news after he had left the building for a good few minutes! Here is Mel and my colleagues (I was told that he smelled of cigar here). Something beautiful: I went for the female form because I think it is something very beautiful, I've been trying to draw and sketch the female shape with my new sketching pencils. I added pictures of the women I think are some of the most beautiful. I'm sure we won't all agree!
Over on YouTube SuziBluTube invited her followers to do a self portrait in their art journal and then upload a video of the process. This is the result of my efforts. I am not supposed to be ashamed of the result ...
