journal page --- okay, so it was one day...no, part of one day of my life....that I wasted a little bit of time. one way of dealing with anxiety/anticipation. at the end of the page (off the lower right corner) it says, "I'm still waiting..."
I took Mary Ann Moss' online class and made my very first remains of the day journal. The journal measures about 15x21 cm.

This is the detail from a journal cover in progress. I love the texture. So I might just add a little more color, leaving the texture.

Green - Flower Meadow:
colored the fabric with acrylic paint then quilted with the machine (gras) and embellished (flowers)
Journal created for a swap. During the months of February through April, wrote 20 entries. The entries were primarily based on what I was working on at the time.
This was made using a tutorial by Rosslyn Mirrington - and some free motion quilting.

www.artjunk.typepad.com I plan to journal on this soon. while I was painting backrounds, I painted the middle and then saw it as a "neck" and visualizing making a body across the page. thought it turned out cool. hmmm...I really love this free flow painting!
