I know it's blurry but it was getting down to the nitty gritty and the lightning round of this super geeky, name the airplane silhouette, let's get ready to rumblllllllle show down between aerial afficinados Jerome and Adam! Adam won by just a few guesses.

Lots of fun and laughs at last night's TO Flickr meet up! Good to see everyone as always. :)

Than we were seeing on Tecumseth Street for a couple weeks there ....

After most of last week and Saturday being full of grey skies and rain, it's been nice to have a few days of sunshine and skies like this. :)

And another creation for some lucky wee girl that I'll get to meet on the weekend. Hopes she likes her! :)

And a gardener too it would seem ...

Just made me smile on the way home after work.

It's been a loooooong time since I've posted up a sketch. I was well overdue for laying pencils to paper.

I blame my cousin and aunt for the inspiration.

Does dragging your butt to work on 3.5hrs sleep and managing to function reasonably well count? And then come home to make homemade lentil soup??

Maybe.

I'll try to do better tomorrow on a full night's sleep.

I got this perfectly time card in the mail yesterday from my fabulous grrl Kat! I could have used a pirate ship last night to get home after work with all the rain we had!

Thanks matey - I love it!

I know my friends help give me strength and I'm lucky to have quite a number of them.

Thank you all! ox

Great to see a talented Toronto graffiti artist get more than a side long glance from the art community.

Checked out Anser's show at the #Hashtag Gallery on Dundas Street West after work today. Wonderful stuff!

I forgot to check my mail on Friday so today I found a cute ass in my mailbox from Saskatchewanarama!

Thank you so much for the sweet card Liz - absolutely wonderful to meet you too! oxo

From a pair of lovely ladies! Thank you to Joann and Kelly for sending the Pony my way and delivering me a big smile.

Thank you ladies! oxo

I made up some iced tea and a nice sandwich on rosemary foccaccia bread with prosciutto, smoked chicken, smoked gouda, spinach, avocado and a bit of hummus. Then I rode my bike to the park for a picnic and a read on my blanket under the trees.

A nice relaxing day - aaaaaaaah!

Way off in the wilds of Burlington! Enjoyed a fun, yet soggy (I'm sure you're all shocked) photo walk today out in Burlington with the TOPW crew.

Thanks for leading Jerome! Enjoy the rest of your weekend folks!

This morning I went to a bead show at the Toronto Reference Library with my grrl Shelna. Here's one of the fun finds I came across while I was looking about. Doesn't he have a great smile? :D

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!

At least we're past the half way mark for the work week! Whoo hooo!

Unfortunately I have the sniffles that seem determined to go to full on cold status. Dang it. So no Choir tonight .... spreading germs to my fellow Choirees isn't a nice thing to do and I like them and want them to keep liking me.

So I'll relax tonight and maybe do a bit of sewing in between drinking ginger tea with honey.

And before Kat says anything, no I haven't been licking strangers. Hell, I haven't even been licking folks I know and like. At least that would have an element of fun to it!! :p

Open up and say good morning!

So I head south-west to visit with cousins and aunts today and will be back on Monday evening. I'm unsure if we'll have an internet connection down by the lake where we're going for a chunk of the time so you may have to wait until Monday to hear back from me folks.

I haven't seen them in quite a long time so it will be nice to get caught up and reacquainted. My cousin reminded me to bring my camera ... hahahaha! You mean my *four* cameras! My faithful Pentax, my Barbie camera, my Brownie Bull's Eye and of course my handy dandy pink point and shoot! ;p

Enjoy the rest of your week everyone and have a wonderful weekend! ox

Saw this on a visit to Bristol on the weekend 😍

I'm sure I don't have to tell you this my friends but just in case ... go for it!

The black sticker says:

"Wanna know the sexiest thing to bring on a first date?"

I would say a nice sunshiny smile! :D

A non-Flickr friend of mine (yes - *GASP!* - I have those) has gone for surgery soon and I found this cute card and giftie to send her and give her a little smile and hopefully make her feel better. Hope she likes it! :)

I got some fabulous fun photos in the mail which brought back wonderful wedding memories and great times with friends. So nice to be a part of this special day with Natalie and Eldon.

And thank you to Mondo for making us look so faaaabulous with his photography.

That time that you're transferring money from your little travel savings account to your checking account, so you can actually spend the money in Paris later this month, and the electronic notification comes up as "Memo: PARIS" and of course you think of Kim Basinger's character in The Natural (one of my favorite movies ever, and Kim Basinger's first real break into stardom).

Got up after only about 4 hours sleep and went out to the Scarborough Bluffs with Michael and Shirley to shoot the sunrise. It was chilly and quite windy but the company and the following breakfast out was wonderful. Nice way to start the day ... now I need a nap! :p

Here are the lovey dovey pair that will soon be parents. At least they know how to be cute and goofy together. I think that will help them a bit when the baby comes!

Whew! Nothing like being on the road and heading for home after a super crazy overtime day at the office! :p Nice blue sky and lovely fluffy clouds always look even better when you're in escape mode.

One down - three weeks of it to go! But thankfully this is a short week and I managed to make it to yoga class tonight.

Can't wait for Friday already! :p

From yesterday ...

And I must be pretty grown up since I've laughed at myself a lot over the years.

Taking things way too seriously I think is not a healthy thing. Laugh and release some pent up stress. It's so easy to forget to do that.

Pride week is just around the corner from June 21st until the 30th. It's the most wonderfully rainbowy time of the year!

I didn't make it to today's photo walk. I got an invitation to meet in the morning with a friend I haven't seen in almost a month to come over for brunch. It was wonderful to get caught up with him and just relax together over a nice but simple home cooked meal.

I was then going to join the photo walk afterwards but then I received a text from my grrl Sally asking if I wanted to meet for coffee. So we met for coffee, went to a used bookstore (I bought two books), we wandered around her 'hood and ended up back at her place. We had strawberry dacquiri slushies - YUM!!! - while we sat on her cozy front porch.

Then we went off to dinner for sushi. All in all, a fabulous day! Thank you friends! oxo

I had a fabulous time last night at the Toronto Photo Walks Exhibition. So many folks came out to support us - it was wonderful!

It was a long and at times tiring process to get to where we did but it was so worth it.

Thank you for all your support along the way my friends. Much love!

Andrew there in the background found this wee little blue duckie sitting on the ground during his travels through Lunenburg, Nova Scotia.

What great duckie karma ... just like me finding Dirk on the ground during one of our photo walks oh so long ago.

Thank you Andrew! :)
