Breheimsenteret is now in full action again after it was totally destroyed in fire in 2011. The centre was reconstructed with the original architecture, but some interior changes were made to meet new needs.
The exhibition space was enlarged and Gagarin was hired to supply new interactive solutions. We delivered three unique installations where we among other things had to cross new boundaries in terms of interaction and technique.

This is a sketch of possible real time interaction with a video environment using segmentation. This was done with a traditional editing, but shows the idea of doing video processing & interaction in real time using openCV.
A couple DStretch versions and a black and white conversion. I can't tell what that thing in the middle is, it's covered in too much runoff. I often find the runoff across panels frustrating, Dito Morales recently mentioned to me that he thinks such placements -- interactions of the water flow and the panels -- may well be intentional. Given all the water and rain related images that would make sense. This panel itself is near (almost directly above) a seep.
