PLANT DEFENSES — Fiona Goggin, professor of entomology, extracts root-knot nematodes from a hydroponic nursery. A movie from an ab intio (CPMD) simulation demonstrating interaction of the carboxyl groups of aspartic acid -part of osteopontin. Unlike when phosphorylated serine is present (see the other simulation) the carboxyl group does not bind with the calcium oxalate monohydrate (COM) {100} surface. COM is the mineral present in most kidney stones. Phosphorylation can inhibit the growth of some surfaces and hence it is important to know what are the interactions responsible for it.

In total: 432 atoms, about 9 ps. Explicit water was present.

The littlest kid was asking the performer if he could climb the brightly coloured totem pole he was pushing around. Sadly it was made out of cardboard so, no.
This was about the sweetest thing I saw all day. A guy in body paint, pink panties with fake buttocks, spikes sticking out of everywhere, carefully explaining to a small child why he couldn't climb on his artwork.

Although it may seem like a student taking classes online looses the Face to Face interaction with their teacher and other students, the online classroom is becoming more and more able to give the same experiences to students with the use of audio, video, and other interactive tools.

The only female street performer at the Edinburgh International Festival Fringe this year Miss Polly Hoops during an afternoon performance on Monday 7th August. Tried to get a combination of action sequences and crowd interaction during the 25 minute performance. All done using natural light.
My brother was doing a semi professional long exposures on the High line while I was interested in the interaction of the runner coming our way and him in this film Noir futuristic look. Shot from the hand with the Sony Nex-5 16 mm lens that came with the kit.
I'm not sure if the guy in the shorts had anything to do with the other guy having to move down a spot (see the next picture)
