Tamarack macro.
Larix Laricina, commonly known as tamarack or American larch, is a deciduous conifer, one of only few species of conifers that are not evergreen and the only native deciduous conifer of Illinois. In the fall the needles of this small to medium sized tree turn a beautiful golden yellow and fall off.

Inspired by lost america's work. I dont have much in the way of abandoned buildings or aircraft grave yards near my house so i decided to look inside the square so to speak
Strobist: One red gelled ebay radio triggered strobe behind the toilet seat and one hand held blue gelled snooted strobe fired manually during long exposure. both strobes on about 1/2 power

Dancing in the Light / Imagine For A Moment

It is in looking above that I find you and hold you close for beyond all worlds from beginning to end what I find in you is precious, in you my love.

Nom commun : Le coeur, le milieu d’un fruit ou d’un légume dont on a ôté tout ce qu’il y avait à manger. Par exemple trognon de pomme
Adjectif : (Familier) Trop mignon. (Pour désigner un petit enfant, un petit animal, ...)
On mélange les deux et hop , il est pas trognon ce "minion" ? ;-)

The Italian Chapel is an ornate Catholic chapel on the small island of Lamb Holm in the Orkney Islands. It was built during World War II by Italian prisoners of war, who were housed on the previously uninhabited island while they constructed the Churchill Barriers to the east of Scapa Flow. These barriers connected a series of small islands in Orkney limiting access points to Scapa Flow thus protecting the British naval fleet stationed there from submarine attack.
The chapel was constructed from limited materials by the prisoners. Two Nissen huts (prefabricated steel structures, made from a half-cylindrical skin of corrugated steel) were joined end-to-end. The corrugated interior was then covered with plasterboard and the altar and altar rail were constructed from concrete left over from work on the barriers. Most of the interior decoration was done by Domenico Chiocchetti, a prisoner from Moena.
