This was taken of a small glass chess set. 3 squares on the chess board were about 3 inches across. The only light source was from behind the chess set.

Seed heads inside the cookie jar with a mid blue wrapping paper behind the jar.
Shot wide open as usual to lose definition of the actual jar but at the same time making it difficult to get a seed head in focus...by the way the lens is actually protruding inside of the jar for this shot which shows how close this lens can focus.

After the Heaven's door post here yesterday, here are some of the natural spaces inside this protected area. In winter, access is practically impossible as the forest road runs under steep slopes subject to continuous snow avalanches.
Dopo la foto di ieri, ecco alcuni degli spazi naturali all'interno di questo area protetta. In inverno purtroppo l'accesso è praticamente impossibile visto che la strada forestale corre sotto a ripidi pendii soggetti a continue valanghe di neve.

La Iglesia de Santa Engracia sustituyó al antiguo Real Monasterio Jerónimo de Santa Engracia.
El monasterio de estilo plateresco quedó en estado de ruina y fue demolido en su totalidad tras los Sitios de Zaragoza (1808), aunque se salvó de la destrucción la portada renacentista de la iglesia, obra concebida y realizada hasta 1514 por Gil Morlanes el Viejo, y rematada por su hijo Gil Morlanes el Joven.
El retablo actual es del siglo XIX y fue realizado por los escultores barceloneses Josep Llimona y Eusebio Arnau.

I'm writing my first HDR book and trying to recall different styles that I've used during the course of my HDR evolution. So, bear with me if you see different pictures from my stream with different techniques. And that should also explain why I was not able to visit you these days.
This is made up of 15 exposures. That's 3 sets of 5 exposures. Those 3 sets were tonemapped using Photomatix. And later stitched using Photoshop.
My HDR book will be very direct. Just how I do my stuff, You'll be surprised to know how easy I make my HDRs if you buy my book. I will be including pictures for your exercise.

The Unitarian Universalist Church of Buffalo is a historic church complex located at 695 Elmwood Avenue, in Buffalo, New York. The building was designed by architect Edward Austin Kent in 1906.[2] Kent died in 1912 aboard the RMS Titanic and a memorial plaque is located in the church honoring him.[3]
The congregation is currently associated with the Unitarian Universalist Association. The church building was originally called the First Unitarian Church of Buffalo when the congregation was Unitarian in theology. In 1953, the congregation joined with the Universalist Church of the Messiah and began worshiping together as the Unitarian Universalist Church of Buffalo. The two denominations merged nationally in 1961
