Our sunflowers are popping.. This was among the first to bloom. Taken in late afternoon with the setting sun dispersed through the nearby treeline. I will try not to wear you out with these but.fair warning...they are my favorite. Have a Great Sunday!!

Barrage Vauban in Strasbourg is a fabulous mixture of covered bridge, defence system and dam for Strasbourg's water systems fed by the river Ill. Nowadays one can walk through and admire wonderful sculptures which originally decorated Palais Rohan. Each lateral chamber within this bridge contains a great selection of those sculptures and it is a real pleasure to wander about and discover these stored away pieces of historic art.

flickr appears 3 times, study/exams appears 4 time. Studies win. Sigh.

Aren't they lovely? It was a bit tricky making this shot as i wanted to use natural light and the cats bolted for the door as soon as i opened it for the sunlight to come in. They are my cousin Grace's cats and they are not used to my place yet.

I wanted to capture the relection but the photo would have been a dull one without the cats. After a bit of coaxing I managed to place Snowbelle on the right while Yuki walks in on the left to check out what i was doing. Her inquisitive look was a bonus.
