Yes, I know the rug and the sofa need to be different colors - any suggestions?

This is a new airbrush painting I am working on right now. It is a canvas-covered board, 9x12.

Abby appears to like it already!

Version one was a gift for my hubby; version 2 has been commissioned by a friend. I'm not completely happy with it at the moment, but when it is done, I am sure it will look fine.

One major difference is that this time I was actually planning on following the "official" colour scheme (itself a bit crazy, as there are several variations on what is "official"), but I really don't like the white. In version 1, I used a light grey, though from photos of the original, I suspect "oatmeal" or even "ivory" is really the best choice. Likely that white stripe will be the only one in this scarf.

Isn't the faucet perfect?

The chalkboard wall!! Sadly there will be no writing on the chalkboard wall until 3 days after painting... I'm really excited for Wednesday!!

can't really see much except for the photo, but that is okay.

Small crocheted bowls. I'm still working on the design.

"Sculptor's Song" from the Vogue Stitchionary vol.2, with an additional border faux-cable (sl 1, k2, psso) and a seed-stitch edge.

The room is 10ft by 19ft. The long wall without any doors is shared with our landlady, which is why we didn't put the tv against it.

I discovered that it was much easier for me to just use my hands (sort of like clay). I wasn't going for a machine-smooth look, and using my hands I could layer the mixture to create a weathered texture.

Sketched the basic design using colored pencil.

Still not sure what this is going to be when it grows up. I found a stitch

pattern I liked with the chenille in a poncho pattern, but the yarn isn't

thick enough to meet gauge. So I'm just going along, waiting for

inspiration to strike. I like working with the chenille but you have to be

careful frogging if you make a mistake!

We focused on the front bedroom this weekend. The walls had a lot of cracks in the plaster.
