Sketched the basic design using colored pencil.

Still not sure what this is going to be when it grows up. I found a stitch

pattern I liked with the chenille in a poncho pattern, but the yarn isn't

thick enough to meet gauge. So I'm just going along, waiting for

inspiration to strike. I like working with the chenille but you have to be

careful frogging if you make a mistake!

We focused on the front bedroom this weekend. The walls had a lot of cracks in the plaster.

My first attempt at sculpting a bjd. He is not finished yet. Work in progress...

Working on the labels and the colors. It's going to be a more muted scheme then my more recent stuff.

Rich took out the soffit above the kitchen cabinets. It was about a two-day project. Luckily we were able to just take out the drywall panels and then he removed the wood leaving a space to store extra stuff!

Farmhouse Yarns Roxannes Mohair. Unknown colorway. Size 7 circular needle. Added 14 more stitches to circumference because of gague.

Crock pot dyed Mohair/Shetland roving from Friendship Farm. As it is

drying more variation in color is coming out, ranging from soft pinks to

vivid red. The fiber has a nice shine!
