NOS Stronglight 93 with the cyclo-cross bash guard. Off the bike, it seemed like a good idea. On the bike, it's just too heavy-looking. I also had problems with the FD contact. An older NR derailleur, without the later "lip" might have worked better. The bash guard came off.
Because the bash-guard sits in the position of the first ring, it requires a triple BB to run a double crank. Swapping off the guard means swapping out the BB, too.
Pedals are Barelli B-10 with Christophe clips. Fabulous pedals.
These were my grandmother's. None of them work (not that I wear watches anyway) so I'm going to dismantle them and make jewelry. Except possibly the big one - it's quite lovely as is, I'm not sure I want to take it apart.
Front of the tee finished... it's kind of hard to see the shaping at the waist and sleeves because the stockinette made the whole thing want to curl in on itself.
I painted the exteriors black (Valspar Satin Black) and the interiors a dark green (Valspar Satin Peacock House).
