It looks a little lumpy on the right because I added a 2-stitch stockinette selvedge, so it will be easier to seam onto the sweater.

NOS Stronglight 93 with the cyclo-cross bash guard. Off the bike, it seemed like a good idea. On the bike, it's just too heavy-looking. I also had problems with the FD contact. An older NR derailleur, without the later "lip" might have worked better. The bash guard came off.
Because the bash-guard sits in the position of the first ring, it requires a triple BB to run a double crank. Swapping off the guard means swapping out the BB, too.
Pedals are Barelli B-10 with Christophe clips. Fabulous pedals.
Pattern: Cedar Dancing Sock, from Cat Bordhi's New Pathways for Sock Knitters
Needles: US 1.5 (2.5mm) DPNs for body of sock; US 1 (2.25mm) circular for freaky-deaky cast-on.
Yarn: Blue Moon Fiber Arts Socks That Rock Mediumweight, color Count Cluckula (somebody has entirely too much fun naming these).
These were my grandmother's. None of them work (not that I wear watches anyway) so I'm going to dismantle them and make jewelry. Except possibly the big one - it's quite lovely as is, I'm not sure I want to take it apart.
