These are gonna be finished with buttons and/or beads and turned into magnets or hair clips.

When this is blanket is finished, it will measure approximately 1 x 1 meter. I still have a long way to go...

There are two drawbacks to this arrangement -

1. The TV is right in front of us - aweful tempting to turn it on.

2. Oh look, the furnace - Isn't it ugly?

For comparison with my before photos. Now to get some trees!!

I was able to get a little spinning done yesterday evening. I really like

the way the Shetland/mohair roving is spinning up. Hard to tell until after

it is plied and washed, but I think it's going to be softer than the

rambouillet/mohair. The colors are rich and I think, if there's enough,

this will make a really nice vest.

Busy day again yesterday, unpacking Dad and getting his stuff settled. It

was a wonderful day, warm and sunny with a breeze in the morning. The wind

picked up in the afternoon but was never unpleasant. Today is supposed to

be just as beautiful, and I'm hoping to get some bunny chores done. There's

a buck in the barn that is sadly overdue for shearing! I try not to let

that happen; it's not good for the rabbit or for the wonderful fiber that

they produce for them to go overdue. But this past month has been so wild

with moving chores!

I also may try to breed two more does, my lovely Amber and the gorgeous Woolybuns Crystal. Woolybuns Cheshire has a date with and amazing buck at Perfect Spot Farm; can't wait to see how that breeding turns out!

Preview of unfinished work to be put in the show.

I always keep my shards and uneven random snippets, even the bits that are too tiny,or don't sit upright.

Then the other night I fancied doing some mosaic in front of the telly without causing injury to my family with flying bits of glass - so I figured I'd just jigsaw together my leftovers. So much fun!

I have been wanting to do some sort of banner that can go across my table at art shows. People always come up to my table at shows and think that my piece are tiles (which is so strange to me). I guess because they are coated in polyurethane??? Anyway, I thought it was about time to announce (lol) what exactly it is that I do. :)

Dark and light pink corridale.

working on some. haven't really done any serious non-doodle graphite work in at least 2 years.

To Do list with advanced functions

I put a braided cable up the center of the back... gotta keep things interesting, you know.

Another 3 weeks and the walls should be done. (Going at 1 weekend day a week). Going to put the mobile AC unit in a corner and route it through the floor.

working on migrating some of my painting/collage sketches into print world... also playing with linocuts for the first time in ages, inspired by another artist I know who has been doing a lot of them of late. So far, I am loving the simplification and additional texture these new prints have. This is turning into an interesting experiment.

This campaign would focus on bringing awareness to domestic violence. It would not only exist to help those who are being abused, have the courage to do something, but would encourage bystanders, friends, and family to speak up. This poster would encourage people to search the hash tag and find the website. This poster is one of two, the other would be a side profile of a person with their hands over their ears and a purple ear painted on to their hand. Purple because purple is the color used in association with domestic violence. The headline would be “Pretending not to hear doesn’t mean it didn’t happen.

For the final poster I would take the actual photo, and paint eyes onto the persons hands.

Made to look vintage. Five and 1/2 inch blocks.

a page in progress, not sure where it is going to go from here....

The start of my 4th drawing in Layers on my ipod. I decided to make an E.V.A. suit inspired by an odd dream I had last night.

Not actually the makeup I went with! This was trial #1, me doing it on myself, and it came out too Black Swan; Heather did subsequent trials and the final version.

Almost-completed Candy sweater, made from Schoeller Geisha (the cream) and LB Imagine (pink). Both yarns are discontinued but luckily I'm not in danger of running out.
