This is about half way through making the bracelet.

Made of fetching green denim, liberally decorated with scribbly notes to myself in silver sharpie.

Snug fit for a big tub.

Painting in progress May 2015

I had trouble this morning getting the colors right in the pictures. This is chocolate chinchilla angora overdyed with pink acid dye. The original has brown undertones which don't show in the picture. I have a gorgeous Shetland/mohair roving that turned out to be jet black, vibrant blues and salmon, but in the picture it looks brown with white patches!

It looks a little lumpy on the right because I added a 2-stitch stockinette selvedge, so it will be easier to seam onto the sweater.

NOS Stronglight 93 with the cyclo-cross bash guard. Off the bike, it seemed like a good idea. On the bike, it's just too heavy-looking. I also had problems with the FD contact. An older NR derailleur, without the later "lip" might have worked better. The bash guard came off.

Because the bash-guard sits in the position of the first ring, it requires a triple BB to run a double crank. Swapping off the guard means swapping out the BB, too.

Pedals are Barelli B-10 with Christophe clips. Fabulous pedals.

These were my grandmother's. None of them work (not that I wear watches anyway) so I'm going to dismantle them and make jewelry. Except possibly the big one - it's quite lovely as is, I'm not sure I want to take it apart.
