The river system has to be the start of this, since it determines everything else. I was thinking of bringing topography lines into it, but that makes it much more complicated and cluttered. It's easier to make up the flow of imaginary streams without having to worry about it making sense with imaginary hills and mountains.
This is a photo of the block from which this piece will be printed...that is, once I'm done all the cutting! The light colored areas get cut away, while the darker parts stay. The printing is done on paper, and, as you probably can imagine, the image will be reversed.

Trying to start a new "look" for Lunch 2.0 photography: CHLomo!
Getting everything happy around the windows is going to be a major chore. Luckily we've given up all hope of making it a perfect job. I love my nail gun too.
These were my grandmother's. None of them work (not that I wear watches anyway) so I'm going to dismantle them and make jewelry. Except possibly the big one - it's quite lovely as is, I'm not sure I want to take it apart.
This is a project I've been building out the logic board for today. These are the innards of an simple touch game you can play up at the Children's Museum of Manhattan. Touch the peaches to take them, and eventually you get the emperor's attention!
