I was going to glue on his eyeballs, but one of them disappeared! Poor, blind owl!

 

Also, the colors are all janky bc I used the flash and it was way too bright. In conclusion, he's going to be much prettier all framed and with eyeballs.

At long last, Chris broke through my "knitting block" and had me making real stitches.

Everything is stuffed, and needs to be put together.

got tired as i worked towards the right side of the composite. think i'll leave the rest for another day...

Getting the colors right before i mess with the big version.

This is my ship quilt. The sails are 3D and I am going to see if I can make the wind hit them when I quilt it.

This is the first really wearable thing I am attempting to knit. I've knit several hats (mostly for my sister) and they haven't really come out all that great (read: I'm a bit of a perfectionist). So now I'm attempting what is hopefully a simple, lightweight sweater. I'm a lot nervous about the blocking and seaming bit of it all.
