On this one I worked with a very saturated and flowing ink. Definitely easier than watercolor to get this affect.
I spent about an hour playing with milk, ink and oil and that's the best i could get. I need a bigger cup and an eyedropper.

Explanation: While experimenting with ink I found a way to use controlled splatters to create geometric patterns that reminded me of the snowflakes have geometric patterns. I then went into photoshop and created a neon border to accentuate the border that was created.
Enamelled sign in the Museum of London. I can recall this ink as I used to have to write with a fountain pen in school - my fingers were covered blue ink at the end of the day - the splodge logo says it all
