Ink on transparent paper + manipulation (60 x 90 cm)

Squid Ink Parpadelle (hand cut thick noodles) with no sauce.

The Laughing Billboards! This little ink drawing is from the ongoing HEY APATHY! onlinecomic. I'm using the web-comic format to catalogue all of my unpublished short stories and strange tales from the City of Gears. The comic shares a surrealist autobiography explaining my life and motivations over the past ten-years using a combination of past and new drawings. This particular panel depicts my early experiences with the city and takes place shortly after my first exhibition. Following the successful showing I decided to go for a walk through the big city when the billboards, knowing of my artistic endeavours, burst out laughing at me. At this time I was beginning to realize the futility of my efforts and questioned whether or not a small series of classically illustrated ink drawings could ever have an effect on the denizens of Toronto. Following this incident I resolved to create large scale murals, as opposed to standard sized artworks for the home or office. with which I would be more likely to compete for attention in this commercially corrupted technological age

ICanadian Ink Drawings & Street Art. A technological "Last Supper" takes place in the streets of the big city. Thirteen business apostles line up for a computerized communion when the mechanized master of the ceremony gesture "accidentally " decapitating one of the guests. This was one of many large street art performance paintings made live on Queen Street West, Toronto's Art & Fashion district.

After the monochrome yesterday I was attracted to this plastic ikea bowl full of jumbo crayons

This new 0.2mm micron pen is fabulous for drawing but not good for writing.

Sorry for the photo quality, I took this picture late last night right before I went to bed.

Also, from now on I'm going to be uploading low-resolution versions of my artwork in anticipation of launching my online portfolio, and because a good friend of mine had an unfortunate incident with people plagiarizing his work by copying source code from his photostream. Cautionary tales, etc.

Sumi Ink splashes on resume paper on a discarded file folder. Moth Orchid from a dumpster gardening magazine. Silver seal is a Klimt-style rubber stamp on silver colored foil joss paper. Postcard exchange card to Manila.

As the camera continues to pan, we see a few other scenes of the girl on her quest to earn a good education.
