The hot guy from Miami Ink!

Enamelled sign in the Museum of London. I can recall this ink as I used to have to write with a fountain pen in school - my fingers were covered blue ink at the end of the day - the splodge logo says it all

This is a hideous, four-armed mutant abomination that can be found deep in dark fetid swamps. It is a deadly predator and should be avoided at all costs, as it has no fear of Man and in fact seems to prefer humans as prey. It is highly reistant to injury, and bullets are largely ineffective against it tough, leathery hide. It has formidable natural weapons. Its upper end in sharp claws for rending flesh, its lower arms in crushing tentacles. Its tongue is over ten feet long, and is capable of injecting a paralytic poison similar in chemical composition to curare. Its mouth is full of razor sharp teeth, and it is capable of devouring prey many times its size. Some suspect this creature may somehow be related to great Cthulhu, but research has been inconclusive.

I drew this using technical pens, uniball vision pens, Sharpies, markers, brush and ink, and a couple of different nib pens. I'm not sure how long this one took, probably around three hours.

Strange as it sounds, I set out to do a watercolor painting of a Unicorn, and then I realized I couldn't draw a horse to save my life so I drew this monster instead. There are parts of this one I like, parts I don't, but overall I kinda like it :)

Она последнее время что-то захандрила, поэтому ваши добрые комментарии ее порадуют. Спасибо!

Think Ink is my own logo---part of my portfolio branding. It is my original font to represent a larger portfolio than seen here.

Hand-drawn, inked.

i know its a logo and all, but ink has a realy cool sign. It's a restaurant in belfast that overlooks the whole city.

Label reads: "FOR MILITARY USE." These tablets were intended to be used with Parker's Trench Pen.

Chromatography Test with Fountain Pen Ink

Line of ink drawn on half a coffee filter. Then dipped in water to allow the water to soak up through the filter and line of ink to separate out the colours. From left to right the inks are:

Quink Washable Blue

Quink Blue Black

Quink Black

Pilot Blue (from a disposable Pilot V Pen)

I have had these two bottles of ink since the late 80s. I used this ink to write my university finals exams. I have not used them since this time, but have nonetheless carried them with me through many house moves.

Having recently acquired a new fountain pen, I filled it with black ink from the left hand bottle. It came out all blobby and blotchy. I bought some new ink (visible in the background) and it worked fine, so I threw these two old bottles away.

I've now inked it and scanned it. This is actually not so bad as far as they go - there's no massive inking errors, no smears or drops (no winestains!) - the only thing that really bugs me is those eyes, but that is what photoshop is for.
