I just found this book in a free box on the street. Haven't read through it yet, but am anticipating some more hand type and calligraphy in future work :)
Just got this today! So hopefully a lot of photos that I'll upload in future will have a geotag so you can see more or less the exact location where I took that photo! I've tried to add photos to my map here at Flickr before but it's a lot of work and very inaccurate without such a gadget and I gave up after some photos.

North Street Building, Park Lane College (Keighley Campus), 19th June, 2008. The leaded windows with the twelve stained glass heraldic shields was at the back of the building, overlooking Lord Street. The emblem top centre is for Swire Smith (tbc), the second row (L to R) has the coats of arms for the Duke of Devonshire, Great Britain and Ireland, and the Clothmakers' Company. The third row (L to R) has the coats of arms for the Brigg family, the Borough of Keighley, and the Prince Smith family. The coats of arms on the fourth row are unidentified.
Part of a set of photographs taken of the interior, and from the interior, of Park Lane College (Keighley Campus)'s North Street Building. The building was between North Street and Lord Street, and parts dated back to the 1870s, although a stone engraving above the door on Lord Street stated 1914. It was originally next door to the Mechanics Institute (which was demolished following a fire in the 1960s). The Mechanics Institute site was built on in the 1970 with a new college building, joined to the Technical College building that had been built on the other side of Lord Street in the late 1950s by a corridoor bridge. Part of the original building housed Keighley Boys Grammar School until the 1960s, and then became a further part of Keighley Technical College. Finally it was part of the Keighley Campus of Leeds City College before Bradford Council took over the building as office space in 2010. When no permanent tenants or buyers could be found, the decision was made to demolish the building. Some select demolition took part in 2013 before the whole building was removed in 2016/2017.

Back in 2011 this was a badly run down area and not much had changed, along the river, when I last visited in May 2019. I was prevented, May 2019, from taking photographs by security staff claiming that I did not have permission to be on a working quay while ships were unloading. I did not argue with them as I had plenty of opportunity to photograph the area during my week in Cork.
Within the general area there is now a lot of development underway near the railway station. I will show this development in future photographs.
1 August - I used to have a whole bed of daisies but dug up a lot this year, there are still enough to make an impact and I'm sure they will rapidly increase in numbers in future years!

Minolta SRT-101 / Agfa APX 25 (Expired 1995).
My first roll of Agfa APX 25; reasonably pleased with the results. Will use a tripod in future during the winter months. Some of the shots taken handheld at 1/15 turned out a little blurry.

Just a closer view of my all natural vegetable oils soap I made and coloured with Australia Red Clay and Barley Green for leaves. Think I'll be getting French Green Clay for the leaves in future. Don't know how much the Barley Green will fade.

Tashilhunpo Monastery, founded in 1447 by the 1st Dalai Lama, is a historic and culturally important monastery in Shigatse, the second-largest city in Tibet.
The monastery was sacked when the Gorkha Kingdom invaded Tibet and captured Shigatse in 1791 before a combined Tibetan and Chinese army drove them back as far as the outskirts of Kathmandu, when they were forced to agree to keep the peace in future, pay tribute every five years, and return what they had looted from Tashilhunpo.
The monastery is the traditional seat of successive Panchen Lamas, the second highest ranking tulku lineage in the Gelug tradition of Tibetan Buddhism. The "Tashi" or Panchen Lama had temporal power over three small districts, though not over the town of Shigatse itself, which was administered by a dzongpön (prefect) appointed from Lhasa.
Located on a hill in the center of the city, the full name in Tibetan of the monastery means "all fortune and happiness gathered here" or "heap of glory".
The monastery was founded in 1447 CE by Gedun Drub, the nephew and disciple of the famous Buddhist philosopher Je Tsongkhapa and later named the First Dalai Lama. The construction was financed by donations from local nobles.
Later Lobsang Chökyi Gyalsten, the Fourth Panchen Lama and the first Panchen Lama to be recognized as such by the rulers of Mongolia, made major expansions to the monastery. Since then, all Panchen Lamas have resided at Tashilhunpo, and have managed to expand it gradually.
The Finale to the BARC Club Car Championships Weekender at Brands Hatch and after a Very Thrilling set of both Qualifying Sessions and Races which took place on the Saturday it was Time once again for each Driver to strap in and get ready for some high speed Racing Action thought the Sunday.
In Tribute to the Marshall who was Tragically Killed on the Saturday Some Car and Driver Pairings were Racing with Orange Hearts on their Cars as a Tribute to all of Motorsports Family of Marshalls for who without Racing would not be possible. Thank You!

Britcar Endurance Championship - Trophy Category (Race 1 Results FINAL)
The Britcar Endurance Trophy was the First up and it was time to see who could claim that elusive Pole Position and to see if anyone else could challenge the Top Three Drivers Lets see how things turned out.
In First Place was the Pairing Of (Datum Motorsport's Axel Van Nederveen and Adriano Medeiros) in their Ginetta G55A with a Best Lap Time of 52:193 and an Average Speed of 64.75mph. Congratulations Axel and Adriano a Really Fantastic Drive and A Super Victory.
In Second Place was (SVG's Mark Lee) in his Ginetta G56A with a Best Lap Time of 52.086 and an Average Speed of 64.70mph. Amazing Drive Mark Keeping that Ginetta on the Track and Taking Second Place while Nearly Matching the Speed of Axel and Adriano. Well Done.
In Third Place was (Terry Stephens) in his Peugeot 308 with a Best Lap Time of 53.421 and an Average Speed of 64.50mph. Well Fought Terry a Fantastic Finish in Third Place and Staying Ahead by just over 11 seconds to the Pair of Jasver and Bryan in 4th. Amazing Job.
A Really Enjoyable and Exciting First Race of the Sunday with High Speed Action and Incredible Victories on Track. Congratulations Axel Adriano Mark and Terry. Lets see what Race 2 Brings in terms of the Action.

CTCRC Poultec Classic Race Engines Pre 66 Touring Cars (Race 1 Results)
Now it was Time for the Fan Favourite to Enter onto the Brands Hatch Circuit with the Pre 66 Touring Cars Championship. With Mini's Lotus Cortina's and Ford Falcons. This was One Race that No One Wanted to Miss. After a Very Fast Paced Qualifying Session on the Saturday Which saw (Alan Greenhalgh) take Pole Position who Will be able to Challenge Him During the Race and Snatch Victory Away from Him.
In First Place was (Alan Greenhalgh) in his Ford Falcon with A Best Lap Time of 58.707 and an Average Speed of 72.63mph. Congratulations Alan A Beautiful Example of the Ford Falcon and Certainly a Very Fast One too. Congratulations on Your Victory.

The Junior Saloon Car Championship was Up Next and Even Though the Age Range of thease Next Drivers Taking to the Circuit Might Shock you at The Fact that Many of them are as Young as 15 Years of age don't be Fooled Because thease Guys Know how to Race Having been brought up from Carting since the age of 4. They are always a Fan Favourite and After Qualifying on the Saturday its Anyone's Game as to Who Wins and Who Losses in Thease Races.

As part of our Birthday DUB-AMS-[RTM]-AMS-HAM-[TXL]-DUB Tour in April 2016. We enjoyed our combination of planes and trains during our travels in April and would highly recommend such a mix between these two transportation options which also bring greater flexibility and add more choices on “where to go” when out and about exploring our beautiful planet incl. Aer Lingus [DUB-AMS + TXL-DUB], EasyJet [AMS-HAM] and Trains between [AMS-RTM-AMS + HAM-TXL]. Enjoy.
A few years ago I arrived at a press conference in Dublin and many of the professional press photographers were horrified to see that I was using a Sony NEX-5 "mirrorless" point and shoot camera. As I also had a Sony VG10 camcorder [it basically had the same internal components as the NEX-5] a TV cameraman for RTE became very interested in my kit as he was forming the opinion that DSLR were going to be replaced within the not too distant future. The reason that I was using the VG10 was that the body could be paired wit any Sony E-Mount lens and as it had a large sensor it was capable of narrow dept of field not normally seen on digital camcorders.To be honest, the NEX-5 was not the future but the NEX-7 was a very clear indication as to what the future of digital photography might be.
Over the next few weeks I plan to visit a number of cities and towns in Ireland and I have, based on recent experience, decided that it does not make any sense to carry a lot of equipment. As I really like my Sony NEX-7 I have decided that in future this is to only camera that I will use on my city visits [of course I will bring a back-up camera in case of emergency].
I must admit the I would like to upgrade to a Sony A7R and at the same time get rid of my bulky Canon 1Ds [I really like the 1DS but it is not really suitable for street photography and it is too much of a security risk] however while i might be able to raise the cash to purchase the A7R body I certainly am not in a position to pay for a set of Sony full-frame lenses so I decided to consider the possibility of retaining my Canon lenses and using them with the Sony NEX-7 and at a later date with the A7R. In order to explore this idea further I recently obtained a Metabones adapter for the Sony cameras. I am now testing various Sony/Metabones/Canon[lens] configurations.
At this stage while I may be impressed by it I am not at all sure that the Metabones adapter is going to be the best solution but I will continue testing for at least three months.
If you have any advice or thoughts regarding the way forward I certainly would appreciate your comments.
The goal of Star of Hope school activities in Trinidad is to give poor children the skills necessary to enter primary school so that in future they better chance to improve their own lives.
In our schools, we give children a well-balanced meal and basic health care.
These things together create conditions for children from poor backgrounds to grow up into healthy, educated adults who can provide for themselves and their family. In this way we are able to help develop entire communities! For how can a child be able to rise out of poverty if he or she cannot read or write, and are always hungry or ill?
Another important objective of the activities is to show these children and their parents that there are people who see their situation and who want to help them to change it.
In all things we purpose to demonstrate the love of God toward the people we serve and as possible share the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Shri P. K. Das Memorial Best Teacher and Life Time achievement award 2016 were presented at a function organized by Nehru Group of Institutions at, Nehru Institute of Technology, Jawahar Gardens, Kaliyapuram on Sunday.
The awards were presented to school teachers from Tamil Nadu and Kerala in memory of Shri P. K. Das, Founder chairman of Nehru Group of Institutions. Life Time Achievement award was also presented to 4 teachers from Tamil Nadu and Kerala. One special award was given “BEST PRINCIPAL AWARD” to Mr. S. ISHACK Principal, Grace Higher Sec. School, Palakkad.
Dr. N. RAJKUMAR, Convenor, Nehru Institute of Technology welcomed the teaching fraternity, the guest, award winners. Chief Guest Honorable A. Muhamed Jiyaputheen, District Judge, Tirupur has given chief guest address and presented various awards Life Time Achievement award, Best Teacher Award for all awardees in the presence of Dr. P. Krishna Das, Managing Trustee, Nehru College of Educational and Charitable Trust and Dr P. Krishna Kumar, CEO and Secretary, Nehru Group of Institutions. Dr. P.R. Balaji, Dean – Academic Affairs, NCAAS, Dr. K. Nandhini, Principal, NIMS, Dr. B. Anirudhan, Principal, NASC, Dr. R. Moses Daniel, Principal NIITM, Dr. S. Franklin John, Principal NCM, Ms. Amrita, Director, Nehru School of Architecture.
Adv. P. Krishnadas, Managing Trustee of Nehru Group of Institutions presided over the Function. He punctuated that the inspirational teacher defines student’ potential, capabilities, widens their horizon and motivates them for accomplishments. He congratulated the winners and encouraged the spectators to achieve the same in future.
Dr Prakash R&D – Industry Relations, NGI gave introduction of the distinguished Chief Guest of the day.
Honorable A. Muhamed Jiyaputheen, District Judge, Tirupur was the Chief Guest of the day. He stressed the Importance of the teachers’ role in motivating the students to cope up with updated skills. He expressed his hearty wishes to the Award winners and Nehru Group of Institutions for giving such a prestigious award. He insisted that teachers must develop skills and enthusiasm in students to make a positive difference in the world.
Dr. P. KrishnaKumar, CEO & Secretary of NGI, felicitate his wishes to the award winners and encouraged the faculty members to update their knowledge and qualification to meet the need of young minds. He also states that the Inspirational teacher often see more in students than what students see in themselves and helps students to become what they want to become.

Go to any hip restaurant in the city like Can Can Kitchen and Club No and you will be treated with a lavish flavorful time coupled with a nice cabaret show and intriguing musical. The cabaret shows of Seattle dates back to 18th century and is an integral part of city's culture. What started as a form of entertainment today represents the classic side of Seattle.
3) Tune into Zoo Tunes in Woodland Park
The idea of a concert in a park, more like a zoo, is just as bizarre as anything else. Yet it happens! And it happens beautifully! With myriads of people gracing the arena. The annual music festival called Zoo Tunes takes place in the Woodland Park Zoo every year in June and has welcomed many performers till date. It is undoubtedly one of the best tours in Seattle. The festival includes the quintessential seattllite music along with various other genres. The place is also close to memorials and residence of some great musicians. There is Jimi Hendrix Memorial in African Savanah where you can stop by for a reminisce.
4) Venture into Strange
One of the strangest parks in the world, Gas Works Park will astound you on your visit. The place is home to numerous gas plants or rather the pieces of them. The rusting metal structures strangely contrast against the greens of the surrounding and create and engaging view for everyone. They are like sculpture which you can view and admire during your visit. You can come here to spend some nice time with books and read. Shutterbugs will get a lot to enjoy here as it provides great panoramic views from up there.

As The Light Fell away from the Circuit The Britcar Endurance Championship made its way out onto the circuit with Lights a Blaze and a lot of Energy coming from both the Drivers and their Cars This was Going to be a Race of Endurance and Car Management thought the 45 Minutes of the Race.

With a Quick set of Warm Up Laps Over it was Time for The Brit car's to make their way out onto the Track and Get Ready for two Races of Endurance to Decide the Britcar Champion of 2021.
In First Place Taking the Victory was (Valluga's) Ian Humphries and Benji Hetherington in their Porsche 718 GT4 Club sport with a Best Lap Time of 50.023 and an Average Speed of 70.37mph. Congratulations both Ian and Benji a Fantastic Win in Very Tricky and Tiering Circumstances thought the 45 Minutes.
In Second Place was (Nial Bradley) in his BMW M3 E46 with a Best Lap Time of 50.799 and an Average Speed of 70.34mph. Brilliant work there Nial Keeping the Pressure on for both Ian and Benji at the front of the Pack. a Very Committed Drive for P2.

Sometimes I do things I don't fully understand. Gimpo's M25 25 Hour Spin remains top of the list.
Sat at a table at Thurrock Services some years ago, sometime around 5am, Gimpo couldnt work out how many years and how many M25 25 Hour spins he had done, or planned to do. I sat and listened as Tim told him to count on his fingers: 1997 was Spin year #1. Spin year #25 would be 2021. Gimpo looked utterly confused by it all.
The plan this year was to plant a bench to mark 25 years of Gimpo's M25 25 Hour Spin. “Benches are about functionality: they need to be used. Unlike a gravestone, a bench shows that somehow you’re still part of the world, you have a purpose and a function.”
But this year, like last, was a global pandemic and respect had to be shown to anyone who may have lost friends, family and loved ones. We all masked up and met outside on the tarmac in the main carpark at Thurrock Services, between J30 and J31 off the M25.
This year was assembled under the guidelines of "Essential travel, for work purposes only." There will be more spins in future to make up for lost time, but for now, the memorial bench had to be planted. On the M25 Gimpo is the artist, and he had decided the bench was going in by any means necessary, safety first, of course.
Gimpo was very excited about his new Van, it was leaking water but other than that it was in good shape. It was a classic Ford Transit panel van which he had bought online a few days ago from someone in Worcester.

The Finale to the BARC Club Car Championships Weekender at Brands Hatch and after a Very Thrilling set of both Qualifying Sessions and Races which took place on the Saturday it was Time once again for each Driver to strap in and get ready for some high speed Racing Action thought the Sunday.
In Tribute to the Marshall who was Tragically Killed on the Saturday Some Car and Driver Pairings were Racing with Orange Hearts on their Cars as a Tribute to all of Motorsports Family of Marshalls for who without Racing would not be possible. Thank You!

The Britcar Endurance Trophy was the First up and it was time to see who could claim that elusive Pole Position and to see if anyone else could challenge the Top Three Drivers Lets see how things turned out.
In First Place was the Pairing Of (Datum Motorsport's Axel Van Nederveen and Adriano Medeiros) in their Ginetta G55A with a Best Lap Time of 52:193 and an Average Speed of 64.75mph. Congratulations Axel and Adriano a Really Fantastic Drive and A Super Victory.
In Second Place was (SVG's Mark Lee) in his Ginetta G56A with a Best Lap Time of 52.086 and an Average Speed of 64.70mph. Amazing Drive Mark Keeping that Ginetta on the Track and Taking Second Place while Nearly Matching the Speed of Axel and Adriano. Well Done.
In Third Place was (Terry Stephens) in his Peugeot 308 with a Best Lap Time of 53.421 and an Average Speed of 64.50mph. Well Fought Terry a Fantastic Finish in Third Place and Staying Ahead by just over 11 seconds to the Pair of Jasver and Bryan in 4th. Amazing Job.

This and the next two drawings I did to help me learn and understand the anatomy of the human body to help me when drawing figures and characters. I copied from an art book using accurate proportions and adding labels. These helped me a lot in understanding the structure of the body, the proportions and where important joints are. I also learned lots of the names of bones and muscles which may be helpful in future when working with others and describing parts of a figure.

The top half was really cake. The bottom half was floral styrofoam (which Wendy later figured out we could replace in future cakes with a much more edible version of scotcheroos, ah yum!)
TEDxHUP International Conference was Organized by Hajvery University (HU) under license from TED, USA. It was held on Saturday, February 4 at the HU Euro Campus.
The Conference brought together the Movers & Shakers of Pakistan as Keynote Speakers; from the former Governor of Punjab, Lt. Gen (r) Khalid Maqbool Sb, Academia: Chairman HEC, Dr. Javaid R. Laghari Sb, Senior Journalists: Oriya Maqbool Jan Sb, Javed Chaudhry sb, and the remarkable Mohammad Malick Sb, Senior Foreign Diplomat, US Consul General: Ms. Nina Maria Fite, Google, Country Consultant, Badar Khushnood Sb, CEO Depilex, Ms. Massarat Misbah, Media & Cultural Icons: Mian Yousuf Salahuddin Sb, Adeel Hashmi Sb, Ms. Huma Amir Shah delivered their talks, and shared Dreams for Pakistan
The Theme of the Conference was — I Dream of a Pakistan.. The objective was to CREATE a platform where passionate people can come together and spark deep discussions on how to bring a peaceful & positive change to Pakistan.
