On March 17 1992, there was a suicide bombing on the Israeli Embassy (Buenos Aires, Argentina). 29 dead, 242 injured.
Imad Mughniyeh, later head of Lebanese Hezbollah and Islamic Jihad, was indicted for this attack, and later included by Mr. Nisman in the AMIA case.
Mughniyeh was killed on Feb. 12 1982, in Syria. He was also an associate of Yasser Arafat.
Juan Peron, president Argentina 1946-1955, 1973-1974. He created SIDE and designated Rodolfo Freude as its first director.

AMIA: Argentine Israelite Mutual Association
SIDE - SI (Intelligence Service of Argentina), back in the 40's, headed by Rodolfo Freude, helped the Vatican move the whole of the Nazi bosses to Argentina, including Hitler, to a nearby farm in Bariloche (Residencia Inalco).

On May 2008, Mr. Nisman filed a petition for Obstruction of Justice against former president Menem and other individuals, for covering the investigation of the bombing of AMIA.
On Dec. 23 2014, Argentine District Attorney, Alberto Nisman, requested that a trial be advanced, to the first semester of 2015, where there had been obstruction of justice, in the case of July 18 1994.
The accused are former president Menem (son of Syrian immigrants), his brother Munir Menem, SIDE's chief Hugo Anzorreguy, his second in SIDE Carlos Anchezar, former police commissar Jorge Palacios, former Federal Judge Juan Jose Galeano, former government attorneys Eamon Mullen and José Barbaccia, Ruben Baraja DAIA.
There is also an investigation of businessman Alberto Kanoore Edul, as a participant in the bombing conspiracy of AMIA.
The Edul and Menen families, come from the same town in Syria, Yabrud.
Alberto Kanoore Edul, died in 2010.
Alberto Jacinto Edul, son of Alberto Kanoore Edudl, had been investigated for participating in the AMIA attack.
Mr. Nisman, had been investigating a 1994 terrorist attack against AMIA (85 dead), since 1997.
Wikileaks: "he (Nisman) was an assistant prosecutor during the early stages of the investigation and intimately involved with the former prosecutors who also face charges of malfeasance."
One day before he was going before a Commission from Congress, to make an official denouncement against president Cristina K. he appeared dead.
President Cristina K, published a first letter, where twice she mentions that Mr. Nisman had committed suicide.
She wrote on Jan. 19 2015 : "¿Qué fue lo que llevo a una persona a tomar la terrible decisiónde quitarse la vida?."
What made a person to take a terrible decision to take his life?.
Basically, before any investigation, she "suicided" Nisman.
Argentine Security Secretary, Sergio Berni, went to Nisman's apartment, and claimed that it was locked from the inside, that they had to call a locksmith to enter.
Now, the locksmith, Walter, says the service door, was open.
There were no traces of gunpowder in Mr. Nisman's hands.
They did not take DNA samples from the trigger of the gun.
Om Jan 22 2015, president Cristina K, publishes the "Por qué se iba a suicidar…?" "Why was he going to commit suicide…?" letter.
There are five "Por qué se iba a suicidar…" mentions, now she says Nisman did not commit suicide, as she had affirmed twice in a prior letter.
Back in 2007, SIDE (Intelligence Secretary of Argentina, under the control of a former driver of Nestor Kirchner, Paco Larcher), had a DVCRAU (Data Voice Call Recording and Acquisition Unit); recording thousands of phones of the political opposition and press. Not only recording the phone calls, as much as turning the phones into wireless mikes.
SIDE has also hacked email accounts of thousands.
Paco Larcher made 5 million pesos from 2003 to 2009.

And working for SIDE, has become a nefarious job, such as the case of former SIDE Agent, Pedro Viale, killed on 7/9/2013
President Cristina K, went from 56 million pesos in 2009, to 80 million pesos in 2010
Antonio Horacio Stiles (Jaime Stiuso), former director of SIDE, called Mr. Nisman, the day before his death, and told him not to trust his bodyguards (eight); according to Diego Lagomarsino.
Mr. Lagomarsino gave Mr. Nisman, his gun, at the request of Mr. Nisman.
Oscar Parrilli, nominated as new boss at SIDE on Dec. 16 2014.
His first order was to remove Stiuso and 15 others under his command on Dec. 16 2014.
Nisman returned to Argentina on Jan 12 2015.
There is a previous relationship of many years, between Stiuso SIDE-Nisman-Sandra Arroyo Salgado (Nisman's former wife).
Mr. Nisman's denouncement came a few days after Stiuso was forced out of SIDE, and now SIDE has been disbanded by president Cristina K.
SIDE is the government agency which has provided the data to help Mr. Nisman, bring about an indictment against president Cristina K.
Now, many of the SIDE agents have ben terminated and there is a Law, soon to be implemented in Congress, where there will be total control in benefit of President Cristina K.
Nestor and Cristina K. used SIDE, the same way it had been used by prior governments, to spy on the opposition and to enrich themselves.
According to Eduardo Arnold (former vice Governor of the State of Santa Cruz, where Nestor Kirchner was Governor), there are bank vaults constructed on private houses, belonging to Nestor and Cristina Kirchner and a close friend of them (Lázaro Báez), in their houses of the State of Santa Cruz (El Calafate); where about five thousand million dollars were hidden away, before sending them to bank accounts in Panama and other Fiscal Paradises (See the Leonardo Fariña affair).

Rodolfo Luis Moraña, killed (suicide), connected to the Trucking Union and to Hugo Moyano. Moraña worked for companies of Alfredo Yabran. Moyano had been involved in legal disputes with Cristina Kirchner.

Raul Espinosa, Fishing Businessman, killed on Jan 30, 2003. had information about drug trafficking in Santa Cruz of Cristina Kirchner and Nestor Kirchner. Espinosa met Elisa María Avelina "Lilita" Carrió, to tell her about this information.
Nisman also confided to Elisa Carrio, that he had legal information against Cristina Kirchner, prior to his "suicide"
Jazmin de Grazia, killed ( by suicide, asphyxiated by immersion in bathtub) on Feb. 5 2012. She had a public online disagreement with Anibal Fernandez. Fernandez is a close ally of Nestor and Cristina Kirchner. Fernandez was also Interior Minister and Justice Minister.
Damian Ferron, killed on August 7, 2008. Ferron, Leopoldo Bina, Sebastian Forza; were pharmaceutical businessmen associated to the illegal traffic of Ephedrine.
Forza's widow denounced that his husband and associates paid $250.000 pesos to Anibal Fernandez (AKA La morsa)
Fernandez was also Interior Minister and Justice Minister during governments of Nestor and Cristina Kirchner.

Architecture in Vienna
Vienna's 2,000-year history is present in a unique density in the cityscape. The layout of the center dates back to the Roman city and medieval road network. Romanesque and Gothic churches characterize the streets and squares as well as palaces and mansions of the baroque city of residence. The ring road is an expression of the modern city of the 19th century, in the 20th century extensive housing developments set accents in the outer districts. Currently, large-scale urban development measures are implemented; distinctive buildings of international star architects complement the silhouette of the city.
Due to its function as residence of the emperor and European power center, Vienna for centuries stood in the focus of international attention, but it was well aware of that too. As a result, developed an outstanding building culture, and still today on a worldwide scale only a few cities can come up with a comparable density of high-quality architecture. For several years now, Vienna has increased its efforts to connect with its historical highlights and is drawing attention to itself with some spectacular new buildings. The fastest growing city in the German-speaking world today most of all in residential construction is setting standards. Constants of the Viennese architecture are respect for existing structures, the palpability of historical layers and the dialogue between old and new.
Culmination of medieval architecture: the Stephansdom
The oldest architectural landmark of the city is St. Stephen's Cathedral. Under the rule of the Habsburgs, defining the face of the city from the late 13th century until 1918 in a decisive way, the cathedral was upgraded into the sacral monument of the political ambitions of the ruling house. The 1433 completed, 137 meters high southern tower, by the Viennese people affectionately named "Steffl", is a masterpiece of late Gothic architecture in Europe. For decades he was the tallest stone structure in Europe, until today he is the undisputed center of the city.
The baroque residence
Vienna's ascension into the ranks of the great European capitals began in Baroque. Among the most important architects are Johann Bernhard Fischer von Erlach and Johann Lucas von Hildebrandt. Outside the city walls arose a chain of summer palaces, including the garden Palais Schwarzenberg (1697-1704) as well as the Upper and Lower Belvedere of Prince Eugene of Savoy (1714-22). Among the most important city palaces are the Winter Palace of Prince Eugene (1695-1724, now a branch of the Belvedere) and the Palais Daun-Kinsky (auction house in Kinsky 1713-19). The emperor himself the Hofburg had complemented by buildings such as the Imperial Library (1722-26) and the Winter Riding School (1729-34). More important, however, for the Habsburgs was the foundation of churches and monasteries. Thus arose before the city walls Fischer von Erlach's Karlskirche (1714-39), which with its formal and thematic complex show façade belongs to the major works of European Baroque. In colored interior rooms like that of St. Peter's Church (1701-22), the contemporary efforts for the synthesis of architecture, painting and sculpture becomes visible.
Upgrading into metropolis: the ring road time (Ringstraßenzeit)
Since the Baroque, reflections on extension of the hopelessly overcrowed city were made, but only Emperor Franz Joseph ordered in 1857 the demolition of the fortifications and the connection of the inner city with the suburbs. 1865, the Ring Road was opened. It is as the most important boulevard of Europe an architectural and in terms of urban development achievement of the highest rank. The original building structure is almost completely preserved and thus conveys the authentic image of a metropolis of the 19th century. The public representational buildings speak, reflecting accurately the historicism, by their style: The Greek Antique forms of Theophil Hansen's Parliament (1871-83) stood for democracy, the Renaissance of the by Heinrich Ferstel built University (1873-84) for the flourishing of humanism, the Gothic of the Town Hall (1872-83) by Friedrich Schmidt for the medieval civic pride.
Dominating remained the buildings of the imperial family: Eduard van der Nüll's and August Sicardsburg's Opera House (1863-69), Gottfried Semper's and Carl Hasenauer's Burgtheater (1874-88), their Museum of Art History and Museum of Natural History (1871-91) and the Neue (New) Hofburg (1881-1918 ). At the same time the ring road was the preferred residential area of mostly Jewish haute bourgeoisie. With luxurious palaces the families Ephrussi, Epstein or Todesco made it clear that they had taken over the cultural leadership role in Viennese society. In the framework of the World Exhibition of 1873, the new Vienna presented itself an international audience. At the ring road many hotels were opened, among them the Hotel Imperial and today's Palais Hansen Kempinski.
Laboratory of modernity: Vienna around 1900
Otto Wagner's Postal Savings Bank (1903-06) was one of the last buildings in the Ring road area Otto Wagner's Postal Savings Bank (1903-06), which with it façade, liberated of ornament, and only decorated with "functional" aluminum buttons and the glass banking hall now is one of the icons of modern architecture. Like no other stood Otto Wagner for the dawn into the 20th century: His Metropolitan Railway buildings made the public transport of the city a topic of architecture, the church of the Psychiatric hospital at Steinhofgründe (1904-07) is considered the first modern church.
With his consistent focus on the function of a building ("Something impractical can not be beautiful"), Wagner marked a whole generation of architects and made Vienna the laboratory of modernity: in addition to Joseph Maria Olbrich, the builder of the Secession (1897-98) and Josef Hoffmann, the architect of the at the western outskirts located Purkersdorf Sanatorium (1904) and founder of the Vienna Workshop (Wiener Werkstätte, 1903) is mainly to mention Adolf Loos, with the Loos House at the square Michaelerplatz (1909-11) making architectural history. The extravagant marble cladding of the business zone stands in maximal contrast, derived from the building function, to the unadorned facade above, whereby its "nudity" became even more obvious - a provocation, as well as his culture-critical texts ("Ornament and Crime"), with which he had greatest impact on the architecture of the 20th century. Public contracts Loos remained denied. His major works therefore include villas, apartment facilities and premises as the still in original state preserved Tailor salon Knize at Graben (1910-13) and the restored Loos Bar (1908-09) near the Kärntner Straße (passageway Kärntner Durchgang).
Between the Wars: International Modern Age and social housing
After the collapse of the monarchy in 1918, Vienna became capital of the newly formed small country of Austria. In the heart of the city, the architects Theiss & Jaksch built 1931-32 the first skyscraper in Vienna as an exclusive residential address (Herrengasse - alley 6-8). To combat the housing shortage for the general population, the social democratic city government in a globally unique building program within a few years 60,000 apartments in hundreds of apartment buildings throughout the city area had built, including the famous Karl Marx-Hof by Karl Ehn (1925-30). An alternative to the multi-storey buildings with the 1932 opened International Werkbundsiedlung was presented, which was attended by 31 architects from Austria, Germany, France, Holland and the USA and showed models for affordable housing in greenfield areas. With buildings of Adolf Loos, André Lurçat, Richard Neutra, Gerrit Rietveld, the Werkbundsiedlung, which currently is being restored at great expense, is one of the most important documents of modern architecture in Austria.
Modernism was also expressed in significant Villa buildings: The House Beer (1929-31) by Josef Frank exemplifies the refined Wiener living culture of the interwar period, while the house Stonborough-Wittgenstein (1926-28, today Bulgarian Cultural Institute), built by the philosopher Ludwig Wittgenstein together with the architect Paul Engelmann for his sister Margarete, by its aesthetic radicalism and mathematical rigor represents a special case within contemporary architecture.
Expulsion, war and reconstruction
After the "Anschluss (Annexation)" to the German Reich in 1938, numerous Jewish builders, architects (female and male ones), who had been largely responsible for the high level of Viennese architecture, have been expelled from Austria. During the Nazi era, Vienna remained largely unaffected by structural transformations, apart from the six flak towers built for air defense of Friedrich Tamms (1942-45), made of solid reinforced concrete which today are present as memorials in the cityscape.
The years after the end of World War II were characterized by the reconstruction of the by bombs heavily damaged city. The architecture of those times was marked by aesthetic pragmatism, but also by the attempt to connect with the period before 1938 and pick up on current international trends. Among the most important buildings of the 1950s are Roland Rainer's City Hall (1952-58), the by Oswald Haerdtl erected Wien Museum at Karlsplatz (1954-59) and the 21er Haus of Karl Schwanzer (1958-62).
The youngsters come
Since the 1960s, a young generation was looking for alternatives to the moderate modernism of the reconstruction years. With visionary designs, conceptual, experimental and above all temporary architectures, interventions and installations, Raimund Abraham, Günther Domenig, Eilfried Huth, Hans Hollein, Walter Pichler and the groups Coop Himmelb(l)au, Haus-Rucker-Co and Missing Link rapidly got international attention. Although for the time being it was more designed than built, was the influence on the postmodern and deconstructivist trends of the 1970s and 1980s also outside Austria great. Hollein's futuristic "Retti" candle shop at Charcoal Market/Kohlmarkt (1964-65) and Domenig's biomorphic building of the Central Savings Bank in Favoriten (10th district of Vienna - 1975-79) are among the earliest examples, later Hollein's Haas-Haus (1985-90), the loft conversion Falkestraße (1987/88) by Coop Himmelb(l)au or Domenig's T Center (2002-04) were added. Especially Domenig, Hollein, Coop Himmelb(l)au and the architects Ortner & Ortner (ancient members of Haus-Rucker-Co) by orders from abroad the new Austrian and Viennese architecture made a fixed international concept.
MuseumQuarter and Gasometer
Since the 1980s, the focus of building in Vienna lies on the compaction of the historic urban fabric that now as urban habitat of high quality no longer is put in question. Among the internationally best known projects is the by Ortner & Ortner planned MuseumsQuartier in the former imperial stables (competition 1987, 1998-2001), which with institutions such as the MUMOK - Museum of Modern Art Foundation Ludwig, the Leopold Museum, the Kunsthalle Wien, the Architecture Center Vienna and the Zoom Children's Museum on a wordwide scale is under the largest cultural complexes. After controversies in the planning phase, here an architectural compromise between old and new has been achieved at the end, whose success as an urban stage with four million visitors (2012) is overwhelming.
The dialogue between old and new, which has to stand on the agenda of building culture of a city that is so strongly influenced by history, also features the reconstruction of the Gasometer in Simmering by Coop Himmelb(l)au, Wilhelm Holzbauer, Jean Nouvel and Manfred Wehdorn (1999-2001). Here was not only created new housing, but also a historical industrial monument reinterpreted into a signal in the urban development area.
New Neighborhood
In recent years, the major railway stations and their surroundings moved into the focus of planning. Here not only necessary infrastructural measures were taken, but at the same time opened up spacious inner-city residential areas and business districts. Among the prestigious projects are included the construction of the new Vienna Central Station, started in 2010 with the surrounding office towers of the Quartier Belvedere and the residential and school buildings of the Midsummer quarter (Sonnwendviertel). Europe's largest wooden tower invites here for a spectacular view to the construction site and the entire city. On the site of the former North Station are currently being built 10,000 homes and 20,000 jobs, on that of the Aspangbahn station is being built at Europe's greatest Passive House settlement "Euro Gate", the area of the North Western Railway Station is expected to be developed from 2020 for living and working. The largest currently under construction residential project but can be found in the north-eastern outskirts, where in Seaside Town Aspern till 2028 living and working space for 40,000 people will be created.
In one of the "green lungs" of Vienna, the Prater, 2013, the WU campus was opened for the largest University of Economics of Europe. Around the central square spectacular buildings of an international architect team from Great Britain, Japan, Spain and Austria are gathered that seem to lead a sometimes very loud conversation about the status quo of contemporary architecture (Hitoshi Abe, BUSarchitektur, Peter Cook, Zaha Hadid, NO MAD Arquitectos, Carme Pinós).
Flying high
International is also the number of architects who have inscribed themselves in the last few years with high-rise buildings in the skyline of Vienna and make St. Stephen's a not always unproblematic competition. Visible from afar is Massimiliano Fuksas' 138 and 127 meters high elegant Twin Tower at Wienerberg (1999-2001). The monolithic, 75-meter-high tower of the Hotel Sofitel at the Danube Canal by Jean Nouvel (2007-10), on the other hand, reacts to the particular urban situation and stages in its top floor new perspectives to the historical center on the other side.
Also at the water stands Dominique Perrault's DC Tower (2010-13) in the Danube City - those high-rise city, in which since the start of construction in 1996, the expansion of the city north of the Danube is condensed symbolically. Even in this environment, the slim and at the same time striking vertically folded tower of Perrault is beyond all known dimensions; from its Sky Bar, from spring 2014 on you are able to enjoy the highest view of Vienna. With 250 meters, the tower is the tallest building of Austria and almost twice as high as the St. Stephen's Cathedral. Vienna, thus, has acquired a new architectural landmark which cannot be overlooked - whether it also has the potential to become a landmark of the new Vienna, only time will tell. The architectural history of Vienna, where European history is presence and new buildings enter into an exciting and not always conflict-free dialogue with a great and outstanding architectural heritage, in any case has yet to offer exciting chapters.

He is popularizing science through song, innovative demonstrations and motivational speech since 1990 in different parts of Odisha state without taking any fees.
Dr. Panda is an extreme motivational speaker in science and possess magical scientific demonstration and a crowd puller.
Innovator Mihir Kumar Panda loves nature and in his agricultural farm he does not uses the chemicals , fertilizers and pesticides. In his farm even the smallest creatures like snakes, caterpillar, white ants, worms ,vermies are in peace and are managed successfully not to do harm.

This is a video showing the application of a billboard type lighting entry structure with the ability to program. I-5 Design & Manufacture created the design concept, manufactured and implemented the custom entry structure for Oaklawn Racing and Gaming in Hot Springs, Arkansas. This is a horse-racing facility that has been in business for over 100 years, but wanted to create an upscale eye-catching entry for their location. We were able to program video footage like running horses and a waving American flag that were able to tie into their overall marketing program. This event will advocate for the integration of gender perspectives in climate action by showcasing on-the-ground and innovative climate change projects that put women at the centre of efforts. It will promote women's experiences, capabilities, and know-how concerning climate actions in moving to the implementation phase of the Paris Agreement and the SDGs. Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka, Executive Director of UN Women, and Teresa Ribero, Minister of Ecological Transition of Spain, will give the opening remarks, followed by a panel and an open round plenary session featuring speakers who will share transformative examples of gender-responsive climate actions. The event will close with remarks from Carlos Manuel Rodríguez, Minister of Environment and Energy of Costa Rica. SMALL BUSINESS RESEARCH PROGRAMS: Additional Actions Needed to Implement Fraud, Waste, and Abuse Prevention Requirements
a) The suspension and debarment process helps protect the federal government from fraud, waste and abuse by using a number of tools to avoid doing business with non-responsible contractors; the Suspension and Debarment Official makes the decision as to whether to suspend or debar a contractor. "Suspension" means action taken to disqualify a contractor temporarily from government contracting and government-approved subcontracting. "Debarment" means action taken to exclude a contractor from government contracting and government-approved subcontracting for a reasonable, specified period.
El 6 de enero próximo comenzará en Viña del Mar, el programa de natación “Actividades Acuáticas Verano 2015”, que tradicionalmente el municipio local, a través de la Casa del Deporte imparte en forma gratuita en diferentes sectores de la comuna.
El lanzamiento oficial de estos exitosos cursos que en los últimos siete años han beneficiado a más de 50 mil personas, lo realizó la alcaldesa Virginia Reginato, durante una ceremonia efectuada en la piscina del Complejo Municipal de Gómez Carreño, y en la que además estuvieron presentes la concejala Mafalda Reginato, el director de la Casa del Deporte, Javier Aravena y el presidente la Junta de Vecinos, Juan Guerrero.
En la oportunidad, la jefa comunal viñamarina procedió a premiar a Rodrigo Silva Cabrera, Constanza Ramírez Gómez, Almendra Armijo Inostroza, y Nicolás Molina Vidal, cuatro jóvenes nadadores pertenecientes a las Escuelas Deportivas Municipales de Buceo y Natación, quienes se han destacado en torneos internacionales, nacionales y regionales.
Además la alcaldesa Virginia Reginato, hizo entrega de la nueva implementación para la realización de los cursos.
Al hacer uso de la palabra, la edil destacó el gran interés que todos los años despierta este programa.
“La importancia de estos cursos se fundamenta en la premisa de lo importante que es para el ser humano saber nadar. Es por esa razón que por décimo año consecutivo hemos querido implementar estas clases, que no tienen otro objetivo que enseñar a nadar a quienes aún no saben, perfeccionar a los que han aprendido con nosotros y fomentar la práctica deportiva en familia a través de la natación, durante los meses de enero y febrero”, señaló la alcaldesa Virginia Reginato.
Javier Aravena, director de la Casa del Deporte, en tanto indicó que “este año a las 5 piscinas que ya están habilitadas, se sumará en la primera quincena de enero la de Miraflores, un moderno recinto que los vecinos del sector podrán disfrutar. Durante los meses de enero y febrero, esperamos que cerca de 15 mil personas asistan a participar en los cursos de natación e hidrogimnasia, como así también a bañarse junto a su familia”.
Agregó que “si bien la entrada es gratuita, la piscina propiamente tal tiene una capacidad máxima de 200 personas”.
El programa “Actividades Acuáticas 2015”, contempla cursos correspondientes a cuatro períodos con tres niveles de aprendizaje distintos, dependiendo del grado de avance del alumno, y de los talleres de Hidrogimnasia para los mayores.
Además los niños y jóvenes que saben nadar y tienen un avance en la técnica podrán integrarse a las selecciones de cada piscina.
Las clases serán impartidas por profesores de Educación Física especializados y se llevarán a cabo a contar del 6 de enero hasta el 28 de febrero inclusive, en las piscinas municipales de: Nueva Aurora, Villa Dulce, Miraflores, Achupallas, Gómez Carreño y Reñaca Alto.
Las fechas de los cursos son las siguientes:
Primer Período: 6 al 17 de enero.
Segundo Período: 20 al 31 de enero
Tercer Período: 3 al 14 de febrero
Cuarto Período: 17 al 28 de febrero
Cabe destacar que entre las 15.00 y las 19.00 horas las piscinas están abiertas a la comunidad, con el objeto que todas las familias puedan disfrutar de ellas, previa inscripción para la obtención de un carné identificatorio.
Este trámite lo interesados podrán realizarlo a contar de este jueves 18 del presente, directamente en la piscina correspondiente a su sector o bien solicitar mayores informaciones en la Casa del Deporte, ubicada en 5 oriente esquina 7 Norte o llamando a los teléfonos 2184674.

The implement held by each of the dancers here is a Chinese muscial instrument called a pipa. Existence of this instrument dates back to second century B.C. It is one of the more well known musical instruments from ancient China and learning to play it with skill requires (to me at least) a good dose of latent talent. The architectural history of the Palais

"It is my will that the expansion of the inner city of Vienna with regard to a suitable connection of the same with the suburbs as soon as possible is tackled and at this on Regulirung (regulation) and beautifying of my Residence and Imperial Capital is taken into account. To this end I grant the withdrawal of the ramparts and fortifications of the inner city and the trenches around the same".
This decree of Emperor Franz Joseph I, published on 25 December 1857 in the Wiener Zeitung, formed the basis for the largest the surface concerning and architecturally most significant transformation of the Viennese cityscape. Involving several renowned domestic and foreign architects a "master plan" took form, which included the construction of a boulevard instead of the ramparts between the inner city and its radially upstream suburbs. In the 50-years during implementation phase, an impressive architectural ensemble developed, consisting of imperial and private representational buildings, public administration and cultural buildings, churches and barracks, marking the era under the term "ring-street style". Already in the first year tithe decided a senior member of the Austrian imperial family to decorate the facades of his palace according to the new design principles, and thus certified the aristocratic claim that this also "historicism" said style on the part of the imperial house was attributed.

It was the palace of Archduke Albrecht (1817-1895), the Senior of the Habsburg Family Council, who as Field Marshal held the overall command over the Austro-Hungarian army. The building was incorporated into the imperial residence of the Hofburg complex, forming the south-west corner and extending eleven meters above street level on the so-called Augustinerbastei.
The close proximity of the palace to the imperial residence corresponded not only with Emperor Franz Joseph I and Archduke Albert with a close familial relationship between the owner of the palace and the monarch. Even the former inhabitants were always in close relationship to the imperial family, whether by birth or marriage. An exception here again proves the rule: Don Emanuel Teles da Silva Conde Tarouca (1696-1771), for which Maria Theresa in 1744 the palace had built, was just a close friend and advisor of the monarch. Silva Tarouca underpins the rule with a second exception, because he belonged to the administrative services as Generalhofbaudirektor (general court architect) and President of the Austrian-Dutch administration, while all other him subsequent owners were highest ranking military.
In the annals of Austrian history, especially those of military history, they either went into as commander of the Imperial Army, or the Austrian, later kk Army. In chronological order, this applies to Duke Carl Alexander of Lorraine, the brother-of-law of Maria Theresa, as Imperial Marshal, her son-in-law Duke Albert of Saxe-Teschen, also field marshal, whos adopted son, Archduke Charles of Austria, the last imperial field marshal and only Generalissimo of Austria, his son Archduke Albrecht of Austria as Feldmarschalil and army Supreme commander, and most recently his nephew Archduke Friedrich of Austria, who held as field marshal from 1914 to 1916 the command of the Austro-Hungarian troops. Despite their military profession, all five generals conceived themselves as patrons of the arts and promoted large sums of money to build large collections, the construction of magnificent buildings and cultural life. Charles Alexander of Lorraine promoted as governor of the Austrian Netherlands from 1741 to 1780 the Academy of Fine Arts, the Théâtre de Ja Monnaie and the companies Bourgeois Concert and Concert Noble, he founded the Academie royale et imperial des Sciences et des Lettres, opened the Bibliotheque Royal for the population and supported artistic talents with high scholarships. World fame got his porcelain collection, which however had to be sold by Emperor Joseph II to pay off his debts. Duke Albert began in 1776 according to the concept of conte Durazzo to set up an encyclopedic collection of prints, which forms the core of the world-famous "Albertina" today.

1816 declared to Fideikommiss and thus in future indivisible, inalienable and inseparable, the collection 1822 passed into the possession of Archduke Carl, who, like his descendants, it broadened. Under him, the collection was introduced together with the sumptuously equipped palace on the Augustinerbastei in the so-called "Carl Ludwig'schen fideicommissum in 1826, by which the building and the in it kept collection fused into an indissoluble unity. At this time had from the Palais Tarouca by structural expansion or acquisition a veritable Residenz palace evolved. Duke Albert of Saxe-Teschen was first in 1800 the third floor of the adjacent Augustinian convent wing adapted to house his collection and he had after 1802 by his Belgian architect Louis de Montoyer at the suburban side built a magnificent extension, called the wing of staterooms, it was equipped in the style of Louis XVI. Only two decades later, Archduke Carl the entire palace newly set up. According to scetches of the architect Joseph Kornhäusel the 1822-1825 retreaded premises presented themselves in the Empire style. I actually stayed home today. I have been working on getting my late husband’s basement workshop cleaned out for over 6 months now. It’s a 40 by 13 foot space. I’ve hauled several loads of scrap metal to the recycler and sold it, had literally a ton of scrap wood and trash hauled to the dump, given and sold things to friends and family, and had an auction house come in and take everything left that was saleable. It’s involved hours and hours of going through and sorting things. I finished emptying it this weekend, and hired someone to come in and do the cleaning. They came this morning, and now it is empty and clean, and ready for me to start putting back the things I am keeping. Part of the space will be my “photography studio” where I can set up my lights and softbox and a table and leave them. A great sense of accomplishment, but very bittersweet. Another piece of my husband’s presense is gone. Sad, but neccessary if I am to recover and move forward.

Solutions for Implementing Gender-Responsive Climate Action during Climate Action Summit 2019 – A Race We Can Win
This event will advocate for the integration of gender perspectives in climate action by showcasing on-the-ground and innovative climate change projects that put women at the centre of efforts. It will promote women's experiences, capabilities, and know-how concerning climate actions in moving to the implementation phase of the Paris Agreement and the SDGs. 2020 is a special year for China as it marks the deadline to achieve goals of building a moderately prosperous society in all respects, implementing the 13th five-year plan, and winning the decisive battle against poverty.
This launch event will discuss how China should continue to develop its agricultural industry in a global context to meet the goals above, and how China and the world should respond to challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic and support the poor and vulnerable groups.
The China Agricultural Sector Development Report 2020 (CASDR) analyzes the domestic and foreign macroeconomic and agricultural industry conditions. The report reviews the important events in 2019, including the persistence of trade frictions between China and the United States, the spread of African swine fever, etc. Besides, the report assesses the competitiveness of China’s agricultural industry from the perspectives of total factor productivity, international trade and production cost. The report provides studies on the impact of COVID-19 on China’s agriculture and farmers’ income; research on the recovering of pig production capacity and its key influencing factors; and simulations of the impact of fall armyworm on China’s corn industry in 2020. Moreover, it summarizes the characteristics of 18 important agricultural product industries development in 2019 and prospecting trends in the next two years.
The IFPRI 2020 Global Food Policy Report (GFPR) highlights the central role that inclusive food systems play in meeting global goals to end poverty, hunger, and malnutrition, and offers recommendations for making food systems more inclusive for four marginalized groups – smallholders, women, youth, and conflict-affected people. The report also provides analysis on transforming national food system in several countries like Bangladesh and Ethiopia, and advice on development of food system in different regions worldwide. As for China, smallholders and other marginalized groups are affected by African swine fever, trade disputes between China and the United States, COVID-19 and other uncertainties. Their livelihoods, food security, and nutritional status require particular attention. GFPR calls for supporting the poor and the most vulnerable to build inclusive food systems
During the event, an overview of the GFPR's and CASDR's findings will be presented.

In this year's theme the attention has centred on the need for ratification, widespread entry into force and effective implementation of IMO conventions, in order to ensure tangible benefits emerge from the often-lengthy process leading to the adoption of an IMO treaty instrument.

Every Wednesday, Purnachandra Saba, delivers boxes of vaccines to anganwadi centres.Immunization is one of the most cost effective public health interventions, preventing around 2 million child deaths each year worldwide, and IndiaÕs Immunization Program is the largest in world with respect to the quantity of vaccines used and the number of beneficiaries. Here, Routine Immunization (RI) saves the lives of 400,000 children annually. In OdishaÕs 30 districts and 314 blocks, it is not easy for health workers to reach a population of 4.1 crore. With 30% of the areas difficult to reach, 22% tribal population, 48% people in the BPL category and 17% schedule cast population, Odisha has been one of the most challenges states for them in terms of geography and demography. Despite these odds, during 2013-14, the state provided immunization services at a cost of Rs 30 crore to 8,54,619 children between 0-1 years and 9,40,081 pregnant women to prevent seven diseases such as tuberculosis, diphtheria, whooping cough, tetanus, polio, measles and Hepatitis B. In addition, vitamin A is also administered to children. The current level of full immunization coverage is 62.3% for children (AHS 2011-12), officials say. Since 2009, the program has manifested itself in the Teeka Express, where participation of civil society, NGOs, porters, rickshaw drivers and volunteers strengthen the vaccine delivery logistics. This system has been implemented in 280 out of the 314 blocks of the state, and has reduced vaccine shortage, improved vaccine quality, improved timeliness of reporting, ensured regularization of immunization in hard to reach areas and improved immunization waste management. .

Staff and physicians at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital and Dufferin Place celebrated the official launch of the countdown to the implementation of IHealth, a new electronic system that will be up and running at NRGH and Dufferin Place by summer 2015.
The new IHealth electronic tool will track patient health information in a single health record across Island Health facilities, programs and services throughout a patient’s entire life. NRGH and Dufferin Place residential care facility will be the first Island Health locations to receive IHealth.
Circa 1910 postcard view of a crowd gathered in Milan, Indiana. The photographer was standing in West Carr Street just west of Catherine Street and facing east-northeast. The K. of P. (Knights of Pythias) Building was outside of this view on the right. The occasion for the gathering is unknown, but the presence of the crowd, the three automobiles and the rare auto bus all suggest it was an important occasion.
This photograph may have been taken as early as 1909. That was the year Ira M. Schoonover sold the wood frame house that stood on the northeast corner at Catherine Street. Thomas Toole, Sr. purchased the structure and moved it to his own lot. A newspaper report explained that Mr. Schoonover planned to build a new concrete block house on that corner. His new house was probably completed in 1909 or early 1910 and that is the house in this postcard view. The house is still standing on that corner today.
Mr. Schoonover also owned the block of commercial businesses east of his house. That block had been owned by E. P. Shockley and was known as the Shockley Block, but a 1905 newspaper report announced Ira Schoonover’s purchase of the Shockley Block and his plan to open a grocery in the building. Another postcard from this era clearly shows the Schoonover Block with window advertising at the east end of the building for the Schoonover grocery and dry goods business. The east end was a wood frame 1½-story structure that appears to have been a house originally. The single-story brick portion of the business block was probably a later addition.
The HARNESS SHOP sign was located near the center of the Schoonover Block. In 1908, M. P. Shultz advertised his harness business in the newspaper. The advertisement identified the location of his business as “opposite bank.” (In the absence of street number addresses, Schoonover Block business owners routinely used the bank’s location across the street as the preferred method of directing customers to their own establishments.) A September 1909 newspaper announcement stated that I. M. Schoonover and J. R. Fallis had purchased the Shultz harness business next to the Schoonover store. The new partners advertised the sale of carriages, buggies and farming implements in addition to harness. Mr. Schoonover bought out his partner in 1910. In 1912, he tried to sell the business, but was still advertising as late as 1913.
The QUEEN CITY TAILORS sign in this scene was mounted on the roof near the west end of the Schoonover Block. The Versailles Republican newspaper reported on October 29, 1902, “Queen City Tailors moved into their new quarters in the E. P. Shockley building today.” Queen City Tailors continued advertising until at least 1908. That same year, a newspaper advertisement for “Milan’s Merchant Tailor” appeared. The tailor’s name was C. E. Wright, but the ad did not include an address. A few years earlier, Cliff Wright of Cincinnati had worked briefly at Queen City Tailors. In 1910, the Wright Bros. Tailors and Haberdashers business was advertising their location “Opposite Bank.” In other words, their business was in the Schoonover Block and the previously mentioned postcard view of the Schoonover Block shows their business in the former location of the Queen City Tailors. A February 1913 newspaper announcement reported the Wright Bros. shop had moved from the Schoonover Block.
The Auto Bus
The auto bus was sometimes referred to as the auto car. In this scene, the letters J. M. BRONNE____ were visible on the front of the vehicle. Versailles newspaper accounts from as early as September 9, 1908, mentioned John M. Bronnenberg’s “new auto car.” Mr. Bronnenberg owned a hotel and The Black Diamond Livery, Feed and Sale Stable in Versailles. A September 28 newspaper announcement said the auto bus service between Osgood and Versailles had been discontinued due to road repair work. An October 28 notice announced Mr. Bronnenberg’s auto bus made a trip between Cross Plains and Osgood and would soon begin regular service. In March 1909, business owners from Brownstown visited Mr. Bronnenberg at Versailles. They were interested in establishing a route between Brownstown and Seymour with an auto bus line similar to what Mr. Bronnenberg had established between Versailles and Osgood.
In July 1909, Mr. Bronnenberg’s advertising presented this description of his auto bus business. “We have a SPECIAL AUTO CAR for parties, picnics and pleasure trips. Capacity up to fourteen passengers, always ready at reasonable prices.” A September 1910 newspaper notice announced Mr. Bronnenberg’s sale of The Black Diamond Livery business except for one horse and the auto bus. However, his auto bus service may have ceased operation shortly thereafter. Other Ripley County auto bus operators began to appear in 1913. For example, a short newspaper article in 1913 announced initiation of new auto bus service between Versailles and Osgood by Crandall & Williams who operated a livery business in Versailles.
The Bronnenberg vehicle in this postcard scene shows a partial manufacturer’s insignia on the radiator. It was ROP___, but the full name has not been identified. Motor buses first appeared in Europe in the 1890s. Postcards showing auto buses in Indiana are extremely rare, probably because the railroad and interurban services were so widespread and convenient.
The appearance of the Bronnenberg auto bus in Ripley County was due largely to failed efforts, beginning in 1903, to build an interurban line between Greensburg and Madison via Versailles. A separate proposal a few years later to extend a line from Scottsburg to Madison and then northeast through Ripley County never materialized. At the same time, improving road conditions in Ripley County made automobile and auto bus travel more tolerable.

In 2018, USAID launched the second-annual Digital Development Awards (the “Digis”) to recognize USAID projects that harness the power of digital tools and data-driven decision making. The WeMUNIZE program was one of five winners chosen out of the 140 applicants. It is implemented by local technology start-up Black Swan Tech Ltd through USAID’s Maternal and Child Survival Program led by Jhpiego.
Faced with limited local record keeping and low levels of literacy and connectivity, the WeMUNIZE program uses a combination of digital record keeping and community engagement to increase early childhood immunizations. For families participating in the WeMUNIZE program, dropout rates have fallen to below 10 percent.
The project recruits primarily women for their team of trained volunteers and supports them with free mobile phones, empowering women to help their communities and overcome social barriers.
Thanks to its coordination with the Government of Nigeria, the project shares the immunization data generated to improve stakeholder coordination and transfers ownership to the state government to build local capacity.

Inveneo is proud to be an implementing partner with Creative Associates in the Tanzania 21st Century Basic Education Program (Tz21) where our role is to lead the technology intervention design and deployment with Kicheko Ltd, our Inveneo Certified ICT Partner (ICIP) in Tanzania. Together, Inveneo and Kicheko have been instrumental in introducing sustainable technology solutions that are relevant to rural Tanzanian schools that often lack electrical power and ICT skilled staff.
Recently we passed a major milestone in the program - the deployment of information and communication technologies to 5 pilot schools.
Dr. H.E. Kavishe of Kicheko, Wayan Vota and Jen Overgaag of Inveneo, assisted by a cadre of Kicheko technicians, installed a mix of laptops, desktops, LED projectors and related networking and power equipment at Naliendele, Kambarage, Darajani, and Kisiwandui Primary Schools, and Machakaeni Teacher Center.
The pilot deployment is testing technology configurations and the installation was used to train local engineers on Inveneo installation methodologies in preparation for the major ICT deployment to all schools, scheduled for early 2012.

The architectural history of the Palais

"It is my will that the expansion of the inner city of Vienna with regard to a suitable connection of the same with the suburbs as soon as possible is tackled and at this on Regulirung (regulation) and beautifying of my Residence and Imperial Capital is taken into account. To this end I grant the withdrawal of the ramparts and fortifications of the inner city and the trenches around the same".
This decree of Emperor Franz Joseph I, published on 25 December 1857 in the Wiener Zeitung, formed the basis for the largest the surface concerning and architecturally most significant transformation of the Viennese cityscape. Involving several renowned domestic and foreign architects a "master plan" took form, which included the construction of a boulevard instead of the ramparts between the inner city and its radially upstream suburbs. In the 50-years during implementation phase, an impressive architectural ensemble developed, consisting of imperial and private representational buildings, public administration and cultural buildings, churches and barracks, marking the era under the term "ring-street style". Already in the first year tithe decided a senior member of the Austrian imperial family to decorate the facades of his palace according to the new design principles, and thus certified the aristocratic claim that this also "historicism" said style on the part of the imperial house was attributed.

It was the palace of Archduke Albrecht (1817-1895), the Senior of the Habsburg Family Council, who as Field Marshal held the overall command over the Austro-Hungarian army. The building was incorporated into the imperial residence of the Hofburg complex, forming the south-west corner and extending eleven meters above street level on the so-called Augustinerbastei.
The close proximity of the palace to the imperial residence corresponded not only with Emperor Franz Joseph I and Archduke Albert with a close familial relationship between the owner of the palace and the monarch. Even the former inhabitants were always in close relationship to the imperial family, whether by birth or marriage. An exception here again proves the rule: Don Emanuel Teles da Silva Conde Tarouca (1696-1771), for which Maria Theresa in 1744 the palace had built, was just a close friend and advisor of the monarch. Silva Tarouca underpins the rule with a second exception, because he belonged to the administrative services as Generalhofbaudirektor (general court architect) and President of the Austrian-Dutch administration, while all other him subsequent owners were highest ranking military.
In the annals of Austrian history, especially those of military history, they either went into as commander of the Imperial Army, or the Austrian, later kk Army. In chronological order, this applies to Duke Carl Alexander of Lorraine, the brother-of-law of Maria Theresa, as Imperial Marshal, her son-in-law Duke Albert of Saxe-Teschen, also field marshal, whos adopted son, Archduke Charles of Austria, the last imperial field marshal and only Generalissimo of Austria, his son Archduke Albrecht of Austria as Feldmarschalil and army Supreme commander, and most recently his nephew Archduke Friedrich of Austria, who held as field marshal from 1914 to 1916 the command of the Austro-Hungarian troops. Despite their military profession, all five generals conceived themselves as patrons of the arts and promoted large sums of money to build large collections, the construction of magnificent buildings and cultural life. Charles Alexander of Lorraine promoted as governor of the Austrian Netherlands from 1741 to 1780 the Academy of Fine Arts, the Théâtre de Ja Monnaie and the companies Bourgeois Concert and Concert Noble, he founded the Academie royale et imperial des Sciences et des Lettres, opened the Bibliotheque Royal for the population and supported artistic talents with high scholarships. World fame got his porcelain collection, which however had to be sold by Emperor Joseph II to pay off his debts. Duke Albert began in 1776 according to the concept of conte Durazzo to set up an encyclopedic collection of prints, which forms the core of the world-famous "Albertina" today.

1816 declared to Fideikommiss and thus in future indivisible, inalienable and inseparable, the collection 1822 passed into the possession of Archduke Carl, who, like his descendants, it broadened. Under him, the collection was introduced together with the sumptuously equipped palace on the Augustinerbastei in the so-called "Carl Ludwig'schen fideicommissum in 1826, by which the building and the in it kept collection fused into an indissoluble unity. At this time had from the Palais Tarouca by structural expansion or acquisition a veritable Residenz palace evolved. Duke Albert of Saxe-Teschen was first in 1800 the third floor of the adjacent Augustinian convent wing adapted to house his collection and he had after 1802 by his Belgian architect Louis de Montoyer at the suburban side built a magnificent extension, called the wing of staterooms, it was equipped in the style of Louis XVI. The era of stately representation with handing down their cultural values found its most obvious visualization inside the palace through the design and features of the staterooms. On one hand, by the use of the finest materials and the purchase of masterfully manufactured pieces of equipment, such as on the other hand by the permanent reuse of older equipment parts. This period lasted until 1919, when Archduke Friedrich was expropriated by the newly founded Republic of Austria. With the republicanization of the collection and the building first of all finished the tradition that the owner's name was synonymous with the building name:
After Palais Tarouca or tarokkisches house it was called Lorraine House, afterwards Duke Albert Palais and Palais Archduke Carl. Due to the new construction of an adjacently located administration building it received in 1865 the prefix "Upper" and was referred to as Upper Palais Archduke Albrecht and Upper Palais Archduke Frederick. For the state a special reference to the Habsburg past was certainly politically no longer opportune, which is why was decided to name the building according to the in it kept collection "Albertina".

This name derives from the term "La Collection Albertina" which had been used by the gallery Inspector Maurice von Thausing in 1870 in the Gazette des Beaux-Arts for the former graphics collection of Duke Albert. For this reason, it was the first time since the foundation of the palace that the name of the collection had become synonymous with the room shell. Room shell, hence, because the Republic of Austria Archduke Friedrich had allowed to take along all the movable goods from the palace in his Hungarian exile: crystal chandeliers, curtains and carpets as well as sculptures, vases and clocks. Particularly stressed should be the exquisite furniture, which stems of three facilities phases: the Louis XVI furnitures of Duke Albert, which had been manufactured on the basis of fraternal relations between his wife Archduchess Marie Christine and the French Queen Marie Antoinette after 1780 in the French Hofmanufakturen, also the on behalf of Archduke Charles 1822-1825 in the Vienna Porcelain Manufactory by Joseph Danhauser produced Empire furnitures and thirdly additions of the same style of Archduke Friedrich, which this about 1900 at Portois & Ffix as well as at Friedrich Otto Schmidt had commissioned.

Licencia de Conducir electrónica tiene la misma validez y eficacia jurídica que el brevete emitido por medios físicos.
El proceso ha empezado en Lima y su costo es de S/ 6.80. Desde el 16 de junio este documento estará disponible en varias regiones del país.
United Nations Human Rights Commissioners in South Sudan expressed their disappointment at the conflict around Yei and Melut and the level of the current inter-communal conflict.
Speaking on localized violent, “It seems the current violent is heightens then the previous once, new and bigger weapons are used and causalities are higher …and we suggested that there are easier access to arms…this is a new form of conflict,” said Commissioner Barney Afako.
The commissioners explained concerns that there is lacks of progress of peaceful implementation of revitalized Peace Agreement, “the conflict around Yei and Melut creates instability and leading to displacement of civilians.” said Andrew Clapham.
Adding that conditions at “the cantonment sights are not supportive, in regards to living conditions and women have no separate accommodation or training arrangement.”
The Commission is expected release its report on the human rights situation in South Sudan to the Human Rights Council in March 2020.
The UN Commission on Human Rights in South Sudan is an independent body mandated by the UN Human Rights Council to, among other things; determine and report the facts and circumstances of, collect and preserve evidence of, and clarify responsibility for alleged gross violations and abuses of human rights and related crimes, including sexual and gender-based violence and ethnic violence, to end impunity and provide accountability.

A hog oiler was a mechanical device employed on farms to be used by hogs to provide relief from insects and offer skin protection. It consisted of a reservoir to hold oil, and a means to distribute the oil onto the hog, often via grooved wheels or cylinders. Hogs seeking relief would rub up against a wheel (or cylinder) causing it to rotate and dispense oil onto their bodies.
History
In the late 1800s and early 1900s hog lice and hog cholera could prove devastating to livestock producers and the hog oiler was seen as one way to combat the problem. The first known patent for a hog oiler device was issued in 1902 by the U.S. Patent Office, however the era of innovation for this device was mainly the years 1913-1923.
According to Goodbye Mr. Louse, a book by Robert Rauhauser, there may have many as 157 different patented models of hog oilers, but collector’s today estimate there could have been as many as 600 manufacturers, most going unpatented.
Prices for hog oilers would range anywhere from four dollars for a small model to twelve dollars and even higher for larger ones with more features. The same companies that manufactured the oilers would often sell special medicated oil to be used with the device, offering further protection. Many farmers however simply chose to use recycled oil or made their own cheaper versions.
The U.S. government, while being willing to issue patents, suggested that the oilers might be less than effective, according to collector Bob Coates in Farm Collector magazine. "They (the government) recommended mopping or dipping (the hogs) instead" said Coats.
Companies throughout the mid-western U.S., such as Lisle Manufacturing of Clarinda, Iowa, offered farmers and hog producers a variety of styles and sizes including fence-mounted, stand-alone, walk-through and ratchet-governed. However the most common were double-wheel models known as Colubians and Sipes.
Often made of cast iron, the early hog oilers could be quite heavy, with some models weighing as much as 150 pounds. Later models from the 1920s onward would mostly be constructed of cheaper, lighter steel and sheet metal. Other known manufacturers of hog oilers included the National Oiler Company of Richmond, Indiana, Rowe Manufacturing, Galesburg, Illinois, and Starbuck Manufacturing, Illinois Implement Company, and O.H.C.Manufacturing, all of Peoria, Illinois.

World War II led to a small but growing collectors market for hog oilers today. The cast iron models are considered the most desirable antiques since many originals were gathered up in war scrap iron drives and destroyed.
Hog oiler collectors come from all locations and ages, some as young as 11 years old.[6] Generally the "hog belt" of the upper mid-west provides the majority of hog oiler finds today—states such as Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Nebraska and parts of Kansas and Missouri.
Prices paid by collectors can vary widely, based on size, functions, and condition of the machine.
Smaller hog oilers can be purchased for sometimes thirty dollars or less, while the rarest models can have asking prices in the many thousands of dollars.
A small cast iron "wheel" type hog oiler that appeared nearly unused was featured on the History Channel program Pawn Stars on August 8, 2011. It sold for $100.
