In a topsy-turvy world, what else can one do? The Long Beach, NY boardwalk at sunset, with a dutch angle horizon. -- September 19, 2020
I hadn't been to a ball game since 2019. (Also my first trip to this stadium since 2008.) This game labored through the early innings with a lot of pitches thrown but not a huge amount of scoring. Milwaukee took a 3 run lead into the 9th and I figured with Josh Hader coming in to close it would be over quickly. I hadn't realized he had been struggling lately. 3 home runs later, the Giants walked off the field as winners. It was the first walk-off grand slam for the Giants since Bobby Bonds hit one in 1973.

Our Daily Challenge: I’m Soooo Tired
I had the bright idea that It would be a fun way for my Mom and me to pass the time. She is not as mobile as before and a joint effort to complete a puzzle seemed like a great idea. Hmm, what was I thinking? I bought this puzzle as we both love Monet paintings and this puzzle was only 500 pieces! It should be fun, right? Um, no! Putting together a puzzle of impressionistic strokes proved to be challenging. Mom gave up, but me being a tenacious fool, just had to finish the puzzle. Today was the day! Hooray and good riddance, LOL!

The peak with the antennas is Mt Allison. It is actually a bit higher than Mission Peak but to my eye anyway it is a bit less "pointy" and so doesn't stand out as much.
Our Daily Challenge: Leisure
After Tom and I got up this morning, Miss Maggie stayed behind waiting for her breakfast to be prepared. It has been said that Scotties don’t have owners, they have “Staff”.

The walls are plastered so you don't see the bottles where the walls are intact, but where the plaster has crumbled, light sines through the bottles.
It turns out this is the only photo I took on June 13th, and the other was a screenshot of my highest score ever on Words With Friends, so I guess I have to post this one. I quickly shot this with my phone to show my mother how to use the plant identification app. it worked!. Cyclamen. One photo a day. (165/366) Moving right along. -- June 13, 2020
Our Daily Challenge: Powerful
The power of a suggestion!
And so it begins. A couple of weeks ago I mentioned “wouldn’t it be nice if we had a pergola off one Mom’s bedroom on the side of our house.” Tom thought that it was a great idea, and today he started the preliminary work.
